| The cabin was very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Very cozy for a couple to spend a relaxing vacation. Or better yet, take the family and spend some quality time together.

| There can be a joy in a stay. Every kind of sports activities is reachable within 10 minutes. Good scenery will provide you a rest. Old buildings are only that I can tell a bad thing.

| Quick trip! We arrived at 2 in the morning. They had put our key and directions to our room in a lock box. We found it pretty easy. The room, but not the hotel. The roads are confusing and the other building of the Frontier has a different name. We only stayed for a 6 hour sleep and were on our way. Next time we'll try the cute cabins they also have.

| the location was great, definately lake front. However, the bathroom floor was dirty, wall had hole in it, the carpet was dirty and you could tell that pets are allowed there. In favor of the hotel, you are right smack in the middle of everything...lake, snow summitt, bear lake, the village. Would choose another hotel next.

| Great room overlooking Big Bear Lake and the price was right. We were on the second level of the "motel" part of Big Bear Frontier. There are many cabins to rent, too. On our 2nd night we settled in with a fire in our fireplace, a little wine and cheese and Monday Night Football. Great time! The management staff were supper handling our one request for an extra regular coffee because normally they don't handle it. Note: They accept dogs. TV could be bigger.

| Not a bad deal. They need to get DVD players and a microwave in the rooms would be nice also but overall, it was a decent place to stay. We were in a room, not a cabin. I think the cabins would be much nicer and probably worth the extra money.

| The overall environment is excellent at big bear lake. It would be perfect if you stay in cabins. If you choose rooms, I highly recommend for the second floor, or you don?t plan to have a good sleep at the first floor.

| Big Bear Frontier is a cozy little place for families and couples. My husband and I stayed in one of the hotel style spa suite rooms by the lake in November. It had a fireplace and jacuzzi tub. The room was very clean and comfortable. They also have individual cabins for rent that looked very nice too. The area has an outdoorsy feel and is located very close to the Village, which has lots of shopping and dining. Only one block to the Starbucks, a liquor store, and a pizza parlor with great pizza. My only complaint was that they provided a very skimpy free continental breakfast and that the front desk was only open very limited hours.
