This hotel was the best place we've stayed in quite a while. I have problems sleeping on most hotel beds but this was an exception. Leave your pillows behind if you stay here....you won't miss them! The staff was very professional and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It was first class all the way!

We were very disapointed in this hotel. The room had wallpaper that was coming off the wall and strange bumps that looked like someone pounded from the next room. The bathroom had brown staines on the wall that looked like coffee. We attempted to use the PC in the business center for directions and the printer was not working. We had asked if the bar had any NA beer and were told that thy did however it was not cold yet. When we returend later the new bartender told us that they did not have any NA beer. We then bought some at a local store, and found we needed a bottle opener, We asked the front desk and they told us to go to the bar and they would lend us one. The bartender told me that she did not have one. I aske her if I could use the one on the bar in front of her and she said , no that was the only one she had. I then said you mean the only one except for the one behind you.... I never did get to open the beer.

The beds in this hotel are so comfortable you don't want to get out. While we waited in the lobby for our shuttle service there were cookies and coffee. Shuttle to and from the airport were quick and convenient. Our air conditioner dripped on the floor all night making the carpet wet, minor inconvenience.

There was nothing wrong with this hotel, but it did not live up to my expectations. Most disappointing was that the separate sitting area was so sparsely furnished that it was uninviting as a place to relax, while the separating wall made the room as a whole feel small. It's definitely not a suite! The combination bar-restaurant is located in the lobby and also less than inviting. The food was well prepared and served, but it was certainly surprising to find that the only appetizers on the dinner menu were typical bar fare of the buffalo wings variety. This is not what we expected of a hotel that advertized its French connections! If you're looking for a budget stay, there are other hotels of similar quality at lower prices.

This was a very nice place to stay, no hassles, service was very good. Room service was very fast, reasonably prices and usually but not always accurate. Some of the staff at the front desk could be a little more friendly looking ( they look and act like they are stressed and having bad days ). My room was on the side of the building facing the interstate and the noise was very obvious and never ending. Everything about the room and hotel was very nice however. The bed was excellent. I will come back some time.

Stayed here for a few days recently and was impressed with the comfortable beds and luxurious bedding (especially the down comforter). Loved the modern decor, although upon closer inspection it is obvious that when they remodeled they were more concerned with style than nuts and bolts. But it does look good. Nice pool, reasonable room service. Fab toiletries from L'Occitane. One caveat: This hotel is next to the freeway so request a room on the other side. We had to sleep with the fan on to drown out the freeway noise.

I don't sleep well at hotels, and I've been to plenty both cheap and upscale. I wasn't awake more 15 min either night before falling asleep and slept straight through until morning. A friend who usually snores didn't make a sound all night either. The electronic thermostat allows the room to be easily adjusted for personal comfort as well. The staff was also over-the-top friendly. My sister, who was with us, was so impressed that she's staying there again when she makes another trip to The Cities at the end of the summer.

I was impressed with the layout of the room, accomodated my husband, myself and a grown child nicely. Very nice decor and bed linens, but they should've spent the extra few bucks on good pillows (they had down comforters but foam pillows!) They were so uncomfortable, we had to sleep without pillows at all. Most of the staff was nice, but when we called the front desk to ask if they had pay per view movies in the rooms, the girl said she couldn't tell me what I was seeing on my TV screen at the moment. (Kind of clueless). All in all, the hotel was fine but with the myriad of hotel choices in the area, we will probably stay at our regular chain next time.

The hotel room I stayed in was divided by a partial wall separating the bed area from a couch and table area, hence the "suite" label. It was great for business travel and made a comforatble work area and smaller sleeping area. The flat screen TV was in the middle, serving both areas. Very clean and new, which was great. Restaurant/bar in the lobby, which was convenient, although limited menu. I would definitely stay there again for business or leisure.

The outside of the hotel was not impressive. But once you get inside, the decor was great. The rooms were great too. Each room has a Flat Panel widescreen TV. The beds are comfortable and the bedding was great. The sheets seemed new and I think we had down comforters (Not your normal gross bed spread and wool blanket). They had a restaurant downstairs so there was no continental breakfast but that okay since we are not breakfast people. Overall, I was impressed.

Understated French Decor, exceptionally clean throughout, friendly staff, noticeable attention to details, very comfortable suite with complementary wireless internet, French toiletries, and "on demand" free shuttle service to and from the airport and Mall of America. Large buffet breakfast costs extra but is still a bargain. Surprisingly affordable rates compared to larger chain hotels in the Mall of America / Airport corridor area.

We got a special rate from Expedia and used our coupon for this hotel to welcome in the the New Year 2006. We really enjoyed our time here at the hotel.. The staff we friendly and curteous, they were attentive to our needs. We enjoyed the look of our room with the white linens and bedspreads, it looked and felt like we were in France. It was also nice to have a divider for the room so our 4 month old child could be sleeping while my wife and I enjoyed the couch and watched a little TV. We Never did visit the pool which I hoped to do.. Suggestions would be to get a better TV with Cable- 20 stations is not a lot of choices, In addition add a resturaunt to the lobby area... Other wise it was a great place to stay.. My wife and I highly recommend this hotel

We liked the fact that this hotel was in a more quiet neighborhood, yet so close to so many nice places to shop and eat, as well as the fact that we had a sitting area as well. But, it is getting older. The other neat thing about this hotel though is that the whirlpool/hot tub is open 24 hours, and is in a seperate room from the pool, so it is much more intimate and cozy. I would recommend this hotel to you.

The staff at the Park Inn were pleasant and attempted to be as helpful as possible. The room was comfortable and included a queen bed and sleeper sofa in separate rooms. There was an iron/board, refrigerator, and cable tv. The breakfast area and all day coffee and expresso were a nice touch and the staff attempted to be accommodating. The downsides: there is no data port in the room and thus no high speed internet which didn't make it very conducive for communication. The shuttle service was the biggest problem for this hotel. It rarely left on time and the drivers lied about arrival and drop off times. My wife wasn't picked up from the airport for two hours and I was forced to stand in the below zero windchill for 45 minutes awaiting the shuttle due to a "miscommunication". Many travelers were there due to cancelled flights and were very upset with the poor shuttle service. I was informed that the shuttle is a coop shuttle among several hotels and they don't have control over the drivers. Again, the staff were fantastic, but the most important service was unrealiable and failed to meet our expectations.
