| The hotel is very beautiful. I was extremely impressed with the landscaping and the upkeep of the grounds. I thought we would be uncomfortable with all of the dining being outdoors. But with the ocean breeze, it was suprising very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely go back.

| We spent our honeymoon here and were so happy with our decision. The food was excellent and the selection was very wide. Although you have to make reservations for 2 of the restaurants (out of 8 or so), we had no problems getting in. In fact, our favorite restaurant was actually the Brazilian where you don't even need a reservation! Drinks were top shelf. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only flaw was that room service took a little long (an hour or more). But overall, a wonderful experience that we can't wait to repeat!

| We arrived April 26th. The three hour wait to get our room at check-in was the only complaint of this trip. Grounds were beautiful, staff was exceptional and food delicious. Our first experience with an All-Inclusive. We ate at a different restaurant each evening and enjoyed each. The Japanese Restaurant was the best! We went to relax and were not concerned with the night life outside the resort. Entertainment and bars at the resort were just what we wanted. Bars did not skimp on the alcohol! Outside activities (golf,sight-seeing, scuba diving, parasailing, etc) can be scheduled through the hotel. Great beach! We would definitely return!

I enjoyed the nightime shows. Every night they had a different show and there were also some live bands that had good shows. I highly recommend this resort.

| This resort was bigger and more beautiful than we anticipated, along with the pool, you can get lost around it, which was impressive. There are golf cart shuttles around the resort. The only places that are air conditioned are the rooms, two restaurants (which you need reservations), gift shop and the dance club. Everything else is completely open so, bring your bug spray. They had nightly entertainment, dance contests and lessons. All the staff is truly hard working - bring singles for tipping. I was impressed that for an all-inclusive this included room service and top shelve liquor. The sit down restaurants were good - the filet in the french restaurant was the best. The casino is not much, 5 tables total and maybe 8 slots. We stayed on the resort the entire time and would have left only for additional excursions. I had planned to bring my family back until I got violently ill. Not just travelers diarrhea but the worst pain I've ever felt. I think it was the chicken on the grill buffet but needless to say my Doctor diagnosed me with Ecoli. The person with me had a mild case of travelers-diarrhea, which we had expected. Did I drink the water - only what was in the frozen drinks. So your call. I just don't suggest the buffet for lunch.

| This was one of the nicest resorts we've ever stayed at. Our room was great. The only thing we were disappointed with was the food. We tried all the restaurants and ended up sticking with the buffet or the grill. You could always find something you liked there. For a five star hotel I was surprised that the food wasn't better. Despite the food, we would definately go back. It's a beautiful resort.

| There were some good things about the hotel. The beach and pool are very beautiful and relaxing. The rest of the property is kept up nicely and clean. Our room was clean but had a funky smell. Our clothes, which after we got home, washed them several times and cant the odor from the room out of them. Now for the really bad. The food was very weak. The buffets have a lot of variety, but nothing you would want to eat. Three out of four us got sick. We could not pinpoint what made us sick. My guess was that it might have been something that could have been rinsed off with water, like salad. The service in the restraunts was very slow. I also detected a poor attitude from the personnel in the restaurants. For example we were not seated for lunch at the Italian restaurant because we had wet bathing suits. I mean come on, the resort is on a beach and they have the audacity to turn people away. There is not much to do at night. The best bars which are around the pool and beach close too early, 6pm. What is called the "night club" in the main lobby seemed very shadey and unsafe. Overall on a scale of 1 to 10, I would score it a 4. I am sure my party and I would have had a better time if we did not get sick. But still I would not return to this resort.

We could always find a great place on the beach or by the pool, regardless of time of day, which we have had problems with at other places. Hard to get reservations at the Japanese place. But the other restaurants are great! We would definitely go back!

| Paradisus has beautiful grounds, very large and spread out. Nice & friendly staff but sometimes they forgot to bring back our drinks, etc. Enjoyed majority of the food...especially the Brazilian, Japanese, & French restaurants. Liked the Royal Service: free internet, faster check in/out, VIP lounge with different food options, bigger beach towels, sectioned off beach and pool area. Ocean was very pretty. Lots of free water activities provided through resort, a plus. We had a nice relaxing time with plenty of things to do during the day. Just not a lot of night activity to choose from...they offer a few shows but that's about it. Overall, we were very pleased with our trip there.

| We stayed at Paradisus Punta Cana from 4/30 to 5/5 and all we can say is WOW. The resort was absolutly beautiful from the pristine grounds that were always being maintained to the amazing beach with clear blue waters, everything was just perfect. The best part of our whole trip were the people of this resort. They were just wonderful and always willing to help and always smiling. They really tried to do what ever they could to make sure you were having a good time. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the pool was great, we booked the Royal Service and would recomend doing it if you can. The little extras were great and we really enjoyed using the RS lounge throught out the stay and our Butler, Nelson, really came through on several things for us. Thanks Nelson. The food was good, not great but good and there were plenty of choices. This is a great place to get away from it all and to relax and unwind. All in all our trip to Paradisus was perfect in everyway and I can not recomend this place enough. We would go back tomorrow if we could.

| At the risk of not keeping this our own little secret, I would like to tell you that this was a fabulous place to stay. The grounds are really beautiful with all the gardens, ponds and fountains. The attention to detail is really incredible. In the lobby, where we did spend alot of time, there were many romantic nooks to sit in comfortable couches and chairs with candles that were lit every night standing in wrought iron holders. The room was large with everything you could want. All the bars had top shelf liquors. The food was over and above what you would expect. The resturant right on the beach had a selection of fresh fish on ice that you could pick from to ask the chef to cook for you. There was also a chef to make pasta dishes however you like there. We always asked for a bottle of wine with our meals and enjoyed that very much. All the bartenders were great and really there was no such thing as a "weak drink" unless you asked for one. The beach was phenominal. You do have to be on the beach early in order to get one of the large mattresses, but it is worth it. All of the staff is very willing to please. We did encounter a few ugly Americans and were totally embarrassed. Please remember when you go that this is a foreign country to YOU. Take in the beauty and be kind to the people that serve you. Not everyone speaks English but it is not difficult to communicate. We cannot say enough good things about this place.

The rooms are rather outdated, (cracks in bathtub), had problems getting things fixed, (i.e. safe didn't work, no hot water) Staff tries to be very friendly but a little pushy when it comes to giving them tips or wanting you to rate them high. House Keeping actually showed me the marks I should make on the comment sheet! Food was pretty good, considering the masses that they have to feed.

| The main disadvantage of the hotel stems from their offering of VIP service to guests willing to spend extra per person per night. Those two classes of service tended to mean that those of who were not VIP's were sometimes treated as second class citizens -- especially with respect to tables at restaurants, where tables were kept for the VIPs even though they were unoccupied.

| Recently returned from a week at Paradisus with my wife. Had a terrific time! More clouds and showers than desired but still had a fair amount of sun. Grounds and beach are absolutely beautiful! You can literally walk for miles on the beach. Pool is very large and free-form with lots of semi-private areas. The resort was fully booked but even so there were plenty of extra chairs at pool and at beach. The large bed-like loungers on the beach were also great. Plenty of sunny and shady areas at both beach and pool. Nice selection of restaurants. Food was fine but nothing special - have had much better in Caribbean, especially for buffets. Staff was great and extremely helpful. Highly recommend this resort.

| I can't recommend the Paradisus highly enough! We read a number of reviews before choosing an all-inclusive, and this one definitely lived up to the good press. The beach is fantastic, and much less crowded than many of the ones that we would walk by on our long, pleasant strolls. The weather was perfect for a February get-away (with lots of sun every day and a cool breeze off of the ocean) and the service and food at the resort were great (we particularly enjoyed the fact that all of the restaurants were open-air). There was lots to do in terms of water sports, golf, and tennis, but we were pretty content to sit in our tiki hut on the beach, people watch, take long walks, and read while enjoying the sun. One bit of advise- Although the beach at the Paradisus was less crowded than most, we got into the habit of dropping off our things to reserve our favorite spot on the way to breakfast each morning. There is some competition for the tikis that have an unobstructed view of the ocean, and a good location was important to us.
