| The hotel was magnificent. The service was exceptional. This is by far the best all inclusive hotel that i have ever been to. All of the excursions were on site, ie: para sailing, deep sea fishing, snorkeling, jet skiing, kaiyaking, sunset cruise, put put golf, and the golf club was across the street. Less than 5 min. from all the shops and downtown.

| The hotel was extremely nice. My boyfriend and I were there for six days and it was beautiful. Hotel staff were so nice and helpful and food was great especially at La Veranda resturant. The only thing is the beds could of been more comfortable and the drinks could have been stronger and made with better alcohol. As for whatever kind of shelf alcohol you like for them to use it in your drinks. Overall it was a great trip.

| We stayed here from 7/26/06 - 8/2/06. Having never been out of the country we didnt know what to expect, but we fell in love with El Cozumeleno! With 2 adults, and 2 teenagers we were never at a loss of things to do or eat! The snorkeling was excellent, as were the wave runners. The food was wonderful, with many choices. El Cocal is the place to eat!! The staff was so fun, the fajita were the best, along with the made to order breakfast omelets!! The rooms were large, clean, and totally comfortable. The hotel staff was great as well, keeping everything immaculately clean, and all the bottled water you would like, as well as your stocked fridge in the room! Also with having 2 pools, one with activities and swim-up bar, the other more like a calming island paradise, the whole family will have a great time!! We had a blast and actually wanted to stay forever!

| My boyfriend and I went to Cozumel for the first time and we had a great time!! Even though our luggage did not arrive until a day later, we still enjoyed ourselves. The hotel was beautiful!! We had a great room that overlooked the big pool. Many activities all day long. Food was ok, drinks could stand to be stronger. We rented a jeep b/c we did not want to be limited to just the hotel. Other side of island was simply beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!

| The scenery and outside of the hotel was beautiful. I was initially very impressed when we pulled up. The rooms weren't bad, but they weren't great. I expected as much with a relatively cheap all inclusive. However, we were very disappointed to find out that they only had one type of beer -- Dos Equis -- and that was on tap. The other drinks were mediocre and most of the food was inedible. I wound up making nachos on most days. The beach was pretty, but very rocky. From what I've heard though, that's typical of Cozumel. The resort offered free snorkling which was nice. Bottom line, I probably wouldn't go back

| Overall I was pleased with the Hotel Cozumeleno. The hotel staff were friendly and provided good service. Since it was an all inclusive there was no pressure to tip although staff sincerely appreciated when you do. Tip, avoid staying on ground floor due to loud drinking Americans coming home from a late night in town. Otherwise the floor room was fine. Food was okay, make sure you eat in the formal dining room at your stay. Food much better! The pillows were hard to sleep on. No internet service at hotel. The beachfront of the hotel was beautifully maintained. I would go back again in the future.

| Our vacation at the El Cozumeleno was fantastic. It was the best looking hotel on the island and the staff were very friendly. Our room was much more spacious than we expected which was a pleasant surprise. We look forward to returning in the near future and staying there again. This is a family resort, so just in case you're looking for nightlife there isn't much going on after 10pm.

| From the moment we drove into the hotel driveway, we were hooked. Jose (our bellboy) grabbed our bags and directed us to the desk, where we were greeted with smiles, welcomes, and DRINKS! Our room was amazing - clean, comfortable, and what a view! The service could not have been better. We saw staff outside at 5:30a.m. each morning raking the beach, cleaning the pools, hosing off the sidewalks. The food was very good, and the hotel does a great job of mixing-it-up for variety, with the dinner shows, the formal dining area, and the option of ordering off the menu. Snorkeling at the hotel was a great warm-up, pools were great, and the drinks delicious! Only minor trouble was that the water to our room would stop on occasion -no shower, no running water. I'm sure that's all fixed by now. Overall, we give them an A+ and we can't wait to be back!

| The Cozumeleno is a beautiful hotel. My wife and I went last year before the hurricane and then in April of 06. It was wonderful all over again. The pool and ocean view are awesome, the view of the golf course is nice as well. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. We did not bring our young children but I don't think it would have been a problem if we did because there is a nice family atmosphere. The food is good, probably better than a year ago but still not great. There is a reservations only and dress code restarant that I highly recommend inside the hotel. On the critical side, the gym is very poor and the towel service seemed overly interested in enforcing the towel rules. Next time I'll bring my own towels. Both of these were very minor problems that we just laughed about. I have several friends and coworkers who have had great experiences at El Cozumeleno.

| We just returned from our stay at the Cozumeleno and can't wait to go back. Everything is 10 times more beautiful than the pictures you see on the site. The service was unsurpassed. The entire staff was more than friendly. There is no shortage of food, drink and activities. If you can't find food you like here then you have a problem. The staff put on shows at night and they are very entertaining and quite a good group of dancers. Awesome experience!!!!

| This was our first trip to Cozumel, Mexico and we cannot wait to go back. The hotel was great! If you're real particular, bring your own pillow. The staff is very friendly and works hard day and night! The food was delicious - we never went hungry and the variety was awesome. We were surprised to be able to order from a menu, eat from the buffet, snack at the snack bar, or even make reservations at La Veranda - very nice and excellent food. And, the drinks are dreamy - Juan makes that best Pina Coladas. They do not skimp on the ingredients so be careful. The ocean water is warm, clear, and beautiful. We snorkeled, saw dolphins swim out in the distance, lounged by the pool, went into town, etc. There is always something to do or nothing depending on your style.

| We came to Cozumel for our honeymoon and stayed for a week. We were very impressed with the hotel, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful! The hotel is very clean and beautiful. (By far the nicest hotel in the area!) The only complaint would be the food at the buffet, I would rate it a 5 out of 10. I love margaritas but they were horrible, they also only serve draft Sol beer which was not good. I would recommend renting a jeep and touring the island yourself. You can rent one in the lobby. Corona Beach is amazing for snorkeling, great food and good beer. I was disappointed that we were not able to snorkel in front of the hotel jelly fish were everywhere! We did the horseback riding that was arranged in the hotel lobby. $40 a person for what they said was a 4hr tour, it ended up being only a 1 1/2 hr. ride but the whole ride was right on the beach which was amazing! We took the ferry to the mainland for a day and visited Tulum. (Don't get sucked into the time share package - it is not worth it!) The ferry ride is horrible! Take some meds if you get motion sickness! It costs $22 a person for a round trip ticket. Overall I would recommend this hotel to others.

Two other couples with us did not notice this in their of rooms. staff was very prompt in fixing any problems. Food was sometimes very good other times not so great, but over all satisfied. You can snorkel off beach. Rent jeep, ride along shore around island.

| The hotel was clean, in good shape, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good, there was always a large selection of food; pancakes, eggs, bacon, etc., and you could get eggs & omelets made to order. There was a large selection of fruit, cereal, and juices as well. The lunch buffet was disappointing the few times we had it. The food was not hot and the selection was so-so. If you are going to eat dinner there definitely make reservations for dinner. They can be made only for that day, and there is a dress code, but is it MUCH better than the nightly buffet & show outside. The meal requiring reservations includes soup, salad, main course, and dessert. My wife and I had the Grouper in a caper sauce as our entree, and it was actually better than several of the restaurants we visited. For dessert I had crapes & she had baked Alaska. The dinner buffet and show is outside so there are lots of flies to contend with and the food is again only warm due to the chaffing dishes. Room service is available until 10pm, and is a great choice also.

The theme nights in the convention center were a blast. The Bingo left a little to be desired, but the activities were alot of fun. The pool and grounds were beautiful, the miniture golf was a tuff little course. The kids loved the ice cream. I will definitely stay here again if given the chance.

| We loved all aspects of the El Cozumeleno EXCEPT the food. While presented well, it just was not very good! And since all meal are included, this is kind of a big deal. Although the setting, pool, beach, bars and staff were wonderful; we would only come back here if we heard that the food had improved. Our best meal was at Las Palmeras, a restaraunt in town on our last night. Other than that, El Cozumeleno was truly paradise!!

| The El Coz is a great place for families and is very affordable. We have stayed there 2 years in a row with our toddler and find the set up is great for small children--older kids can participate in their kids club, too. The food is fine--usually has enough variety to satisfy everybody's taste. The low all-inclusive prices (during low season when we have traveled) give you enough flexibility ($$) to afford to go out to lunch or dinner a few times and still come out ahead when compared to staying in a traditional (non inclusive) hotel. Be sure to request a room in the South (new) tour--all have ocean view rooms with balconies. Free drinks and food nearly round the clock, nice pool area with activities throughout the day, great Cozumel location ($5 cab ride into town) good beach with for swimming and snorkeling, scuba/water sports center on site--all equal 3 thumbs up from our family.
