| All in all this hotel was very enjoyable. The roftop bar and restaurant overlook the beach. Drinks are a little pricey but well worth it. The pool is smaller than the other hotel pools but the Water Club offers beds to layout on which compensates for the small pool. If you are looking for a small cozy hotel with a friendly staff and great views the Water Club is for you!

| The Water Club is right on the beach and in a very beautiful location near two of the premier hotels in the Isla Verde distirct of San Juan. The decor is ultra modern but fun, we ate two breakfasts there and they were great. There is beach bar is just a short stroll down the beach. There is a club on the roof of he hotel and it is a very active location on weekend nights.

| I was a bit disappointed. The staff there was super nice! And there were a couple of good restaurants in the hotel. However, our room was very pricey and honestly, no view and quite small. The hotel itself is pretty small. You cant take a bath, only showers. And we visited several other hotels that were much nicer and closer to Old San Juan, the neatest part of the city.

| This hotel has a south beach feel, artsy. If you are looking for somewhere to take the kids don't come here. It's not a resort, it doesnt have a resort feel, if you are looking for that look else where. That said the staff here go out of their way to make sure you are well taken care of. The rooms were very cute and clean. Very pretty hotel, different from the other hotels on the strip, more like south beach. I've been here a few times; the staff is always nice. Like everywhere you go; treat people with respect you'll get that in return

| This is my second and last stay at the Water Club. I visited Jan '05 - the hotel was in need of a little TLC, but the staff was friendly and the service good - I had a great time so I rebooked for March '06. The hotel is under new management. While it is in better physical shape, the service could not be worse. The Waitress at the beach actually looks down as she passes by so as not to be troubled with orders. When you do finally get her attention, the wait for your order is so long, I actually went into the hotel to check and found my order along with others just sitting there with no waitress in sight. I ordered a massage on my last day - I confirmed in the AM to make sure all was set - at the time the masseuse was to arrive - no show - I waited 20 minutes, called the desk and they sent me to the terrace - no luck - back to the front desk and they had no idea what I was talking about and just shrugged their shoulders. My entire experience was horrible and I would not return at half the price.

| I couldn't have been happier with the staff of the hotel. Everyone was kind, helpful, and respectful. The hotel itself is less than what I had in mind, though. The bathroom was poorly equipped and roughly done (tiles were cracked, shower leaked onto the floor). The roof deck was nicer in the evening when the lights were low - otherwise you noticed paint peeling and it was kind of dirty. The room was just okay - it was small, the bed was comfortable, but I had a nice view out the window. Best part was the beach out front. Beautiful!

| The overheated elevators with the "needs to be decalcified" waterfall and the shower without any shelf to put a bottle of product on were signs that this "boutique" hotel has seen better days. The ceiling leaked from the bathroom above us. The $12 "tropical fruit plate" had watermelon, cantelope, strawberries and oranges - I thought of it more as an "Ohio fruit plate." Room service delivered a coffee service with a snuffed out cigarette butt in the mug. There were never enough beach lounge chairs. The maid service showed up once a day, no extra fluff at all. The valet wouldn't even put our suitcases in the cab. Not at all worth the price.

| The hotel lobby, restaurant, and terrace is cool. The room however, left a lot to be desired. The premise is that everything is modern and white. You would assume that they would try to maintian it white... The bed linens and towels look very dirty. The bathroom had an odor of a dirty armpit. The bathroom desperatley needs renovation. The toilet seat was in terrible condition. Housecleaning did a very poor job. Barely sweeped and definitley no mopping. Also, if you plan to try to get a good night's sleep, make sure you don't get a room on the 9th floor. On the weekend the 10th floor has a club - loud thumping and music can be heard over your head. Hard to sleep.

| My husband & I visited this hotel in June 2005. The rooms were very bright, and we found it to be very difficult to sleep late. Around 10pm the roof top club starts jumping. If you are not a clubing person this may not be the hotel for you. A lot of young people hang out at this hotel. However, the service was great. Friendly staff. My preference is something just a little more secluded, and elegant.

| The hotel is great, rooms are a little small. But next time would splurge and get a suite they are really nice. The rooftop bar and restaurant is great place to sit at and watch the planes land at the aiport (especially in a thunderstorm). Food is a little expensive but its worth every penny, a very eclectic menu. the young ladies who work the front desk and attend to the rooftop bar could not be more accomodating.

| Service was excellent from the time we walked in, greeted with very friendly, helpful staff throughout the entire hotel. Check-in and check-out was very prompt. Staff was very attentive and recommended great local restaurants and attractions. Being right on the beach, it was a beautiful view every time we walked out, and the hotel offers complimentary beach chairs, tables, umbrellas, and towels to the guests. The roof top lounge and sushi bar is a must to spend atleast one night at. Never had the chance to try the restaurant downstairs but we heard great reviews about it. The bed in the hotel was unbelieveably comfortable, and although the room is a bit on the small side, the view is amazing.

| The Water Club is a trendy hotel located across the street from Isla Verde Beach. It is a great location and many tourist friendly businesses are located within a one block area. There is a restaurant, bar and rooftop pool located within the hotel. If you are fortunate enough to receive a room on the higher floors the view is breathtaking. The staff and crew are friendly and helpful. They are accomadating and they do not mind suggesting hot tourists spots to visit around Puerto Rico. The only complaint that I have is when I arrived on the first day our room was not ready. I found this annoying because check out is at 12:00 but we arrived at 3:30. Our rooms should have been ready. Otherwise again it is a great location. The staff is friendly and remember you are in beautiful Puerto Rico.

| The hotel is in an excellant location facing the beach. It is very funky and impressive upon first sight. With respect to my room, there were two very small drawers, the size that one would find in a desk; I thought that this was ridiculous and impractical particularly given the amount of clothing that one brings on a one week vacation. There was no closet to speak of just a bar over a counter where the so called drawers were. I didn't go to the restaurant, Tangerine, because the menu did not have enough of a selection and was very, very expensive. The best part of the hotel was the roof top terrace: nice bar, nice ambience and great view of the city and ocean. definately should hang out there, especially in the evening. Although the area around the pool was small, there were these great what leather couch where one could lay on to catch rays. They were very comfortable.

| The water club is a great place to stay for people who want to get away for a couple nights and enjoy the sun. There are no real restaurants within walking distance so we had to take a cab everywhere to eat (only about $10-$15 each way). There are a lot of fastfood chains around the area. The Water Club has a restaurant, which is very good but extremely expensive. We spent the same amount taking a cab to Old San Juan, eating dinner there, and then coming back. The beach is absolutely wonderful. The hotel is right on the water and you could get chairs and tables for free on the sand....the beach was very well maintained and not crowded. My room could have been cleaner....the windows were badly streaked and I wasn't crazy about the bathroom's setup (the shower curtain was way too short and so it would leak water everytime we took a shower). However, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. My fiance and I loved the bar on top. It was an amazing view of San Juan and a great place to have a few drinks at the end of the night. Also, the pool area is really nice too.

| Nicely designed hotel and clean rooms but the staff seemed too young and inexperienced. The concierge service was extremely lacking. They turned us down for a table in the empty restaurant saying it was "reserved" and instead seated us at the bar. The reservations came just as we were leaving and then moved tables because they didn't like it. They couldn't even recommend restaurants in the surrounding neighborhood we could go to. The picture on the site was not close to the room we got but they did move us when the other "ocean view" room became available. And one day it took until 6PM and three phone requests to clean our room.

| I really enjoyed my stay at the Water Club. The staff is very friendly and has lots of great advice on things to do in San Juan. My only criticism is that the hotel tries a little too hard to be trendy. Honestly, that's the only bad thing I can say about this hotel, and that's a fairly minor point. The location is great: beach on one side, a bustling avenue with a 24hr Walgreens right across the street on the other.
