| As the title states, the Lord Elgin is perfect for easy and comfortable accesiblity to exciting and historic downtown Ottawa. It is near Parliament, the Rideau Centre, UOttawa, and the canal and locks. Room service was wonderful and the Lord Elgin Cafe provides a lovely (albeit slightly pricey) dinner.

| What a treat this hotel was. The rooms are large and clean. I would stay there again and have recommended this hotel to all my friends.

| Clean, conveniently located hotel in Ottawa. Worth staying provided you have a reasonably priced deal such as Expedia.com or likewise. It's a pitty they don't include a B&B offers.The hotel is very clean and ellegant, yet rather displays somewhat (to my taste) cold formality.

| I visited the Lord Elgin from Nov 9-11, 2004. I enjoyed my stay very much. The hotel has been completely renovated and looks very nice. The staff was helpful, courteous and professional at all times. My room was very comfortable and the location of the hotel is ideal. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in downtown Ottawa. It is very close to shopping, theatre, dining and of course the parliament buildings.
