| Larkspur was just what we needed - very clean, quiet, comfortable beds (float in the feathers!), and with internet access for my husband to put in a few hours of work...the breakfast was healthy and satisfying...the staff are professional and very friendly...the decor is tasteful and representative of the area - the experience was exceptional!

| After finding that this hotel was close to the attractions we were intersted in (Winchester House, Paramount's Great America) and the San Jose airport, we read the Expedia reviews and it sounded good. Everything was as described by previous travelers: the rooms were clean and comfortable, the free laundry very convenient, free business center and free in-room internet access were also very convenient. Driving directions from the SJC airport to the hotel on their website were great. The breakfast wasn't fabulous but adequate. The housekeeping, maintenance and front desk staff were all pleasant and helpful. Many hotels we have stayed with have driving directions to local attractions available -- the front desk did not and the staff there was not familiar enough with the area to offer any assistance. That was frustrating. Having a kitchen available on vacation is so helpful and the free shopping service makes it even better. We felt we got a very good value. We would stay here again!

| The hotel was really impressive for what it cost. It's not luxurious but it was spacious and clean. The cookies were very good, and so was the breakfast in the morning. It has everything you need in the room, plates, silverware, glasses, even a dishwasher. It would be really good for extended stays. We only stayed one night, but we liked the one bedroom apartment so much, we stayed in all night instead of going out. Later after we checked out, we realized we were really close to the downtown area, with all the shops and restaurants. Next time I come up to this area, I would stay here again and go out for dinner downtown.

| Clean, comfortable beds, nice kithenettes. Great cookies in the afternoon. A tour down the hallways in like a visit to an art gallery - worth checking out every floor. Friendly staff. Breakfast choices for cereal were a little slim but there is a great Carrows Restaurant just up the street and they make a good breakfast if you're really hungry. The executive suite with separate bedroom was wonderful. Love the little touches like a small blanket for the couch. And a real closet not just a nook. Bathroom amenities were nice too.

| While visiting family in the Silicon Valley area, the Landmark was a very nice change from most hotels...small,comfy and always trying to please with the fresh smells of cookies and fruit always available. I am certain my kids would have liked us to stay there longer instead of their place, but when we return for our 1st granchild's birth, we will definitely consider this hotel. A great place to feel at home. It doesn't smell like a hotel!

| I was a bit dubious about booking the "studio" room at a very attractive 2-day-advance rate; who knows what that term means? But seeing such high grades on Expedia's site, and 13/13 recommendations, convinced me to try it. I'm glad I did, and glad to extend the streak of recommendations. The room was beautifully done, in an attractive and unusual layout, integrating the kitchen/bath/closet perfectly with the sleeping area. All the features I wanted from Expedia's lists were there and worked well. The bed was indeed unusually comfortable as advertised. The only negative point I can think of mentioning is that the front desk is understaffed, and there were often several guests awaiting service. But when you finally got the the head of the line, the staff were quite friendly and helpful. Even the other guests I met were friendly! I'll definitely go back to this hotel next time I'm in the area.

| Larkspur Landing in Campbell is a nice, modestly priced hotel. For my purposes, it's location in Campbell/West San Jose was ideal. Healthy start breakfast satisfied my need for some protein (hard boiled eggs), juice (OJ and Cranberry) and much needed coffee.

| This hotel was wonderful! Rooms were very comfortable with their feather top bed. In room kitchen was clean and complete and room was spacious. In the evenings, they would serve fresh baked cookies in the lobby. Located within easy reach of expressways and a few dining options right down the street. Free laundry use on site, as well as a good variety of items in their vending machines. (good for a quick snack) We will definately choose this hotel if we are in the San Jose area again!

| Frankly we chose this hotel because of price, but found ourselves being very pleasantly surprised instead. We've often paid three or four times this amount on other trips and not been as satisfied. Although the rooms were admittedly small, the overall quality was amazing, with small touches and amenities one would not expect in this price range. And the BEDS! Suffice to say, we had never slept on a bed that impressed us more than our own, until this stay. We'll definitely be back.

There were many things to choose from at breakfast, and the service was outstanding. I know this sounds too good to be true, but we were very impressed. You won't be disappointed!!

| I can't say enough about the wonderful customer service. I paid for my mother and termially ill step father to stay together while he has been under going extreme medical treatments. My step father has only a few months of life left and has been unable to live with my mother in San Diego due to medical needs. The staff went out of there way to treat them both like VIPs. Afyter only one night my mother had to call 911 for medical help. The hotel staff did everything possible to help my mother with my step fathers needs and has shown compassion and support as if they were related to our family. i can't thank them enough for what they did for my mother. After spending the day with my father and sometimes all night she was always welcomed back to the hotel with calls of concern and help from the staff. in regards to the comforts of the room ....the beds and linens are comparable to a 5 star (Westin qaulity)
