The rooms have been recently re-decorated and have a very serene atmosphere. The only thing that would make this hotel better is if they also re-did all the bathrooms. Although large and spacious the tubs and tub doors are starting to show their age and so is the tiling. I realize this would be a pricey project, but would add to the Marquette's already lovely rooms.

We were extremely pleased to visit Minneapolis again after several years. Using the Marquette as our headquarters for the long weekend was absolutely the best decision, just terrific. Hotel personnel ALL were informative, professional, and great personalities. Great places to see in Minneapolis, day and night. Use the Marquette, in the middle of it all.

I've heard that the Marquette was recently refurbished, and I could definitely tell. The room was in excellent condition. I especially liked how spacious the bathroom was, and the modern decor in the bedroom. Our flight got in early, and the hotel put a rush on the preparation of the room to have it ready by 11:30am (regularly, check-in is at 3pm!). They even offered to hold our bags while we went to grab lunch, as the room was being prepared. The only problem we had with the room was, our request for evening turn-down service was ignored... but that may have been a technical problem with the alert button they tell guests to use. I definitely recommend the Marquette!

We had 3 rooms at the Marquette including one for a guest from Europe. Our entire experience at the hotel was simply wonderful and we look forward to the next stay. The rooms are lovely, comfortable and spacious. The hotel staff is friendly, efficient and was quick to respond to requests. The Marquette is a wonderful choice in Minneapolis and is close to shopping, restaurants, and the museums. I would highly recommend the Marquette.

We stayed here for my girlfriend's birthday. The service was tremendous. The concierge took care of flowers, champagne, in-room massages, dinner, and brunch a-top the IDS center. The only downside was the bathroom was being repaired and the staff forgot to clean up afterwards. They did promptly clean it upon request, but no apologies were given.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Marquette. I seldom venture into downtown MPLS due to the parking difficulties - it was great to stay at the hotel and hit all the local attractions I've been missing. The hotel was clean, had a deep bath tub and enormous king size bed. Food at Basils was exquisite! I'll go back.

If you are staying in the winter, this is the place to stay. Not once did we have to venture outside and bundle up for the frigid weather, thanks to the fact that the hotel is connected to everything by skyway. The beds were super comfortable, the sheets luxurious. The hotel staff was superb and arrived very quickly with every request we had.

Located in the midst of downtown Minneapolis shopping areas, this hotel is hard to beat. Restaurants are only a skywalk away. One inconvenience though is that there are only 2 elevators for the hotel parking, which is also used by shoppers, making for long waits.

Nestled in the thick of downtown's business area, this hotel can be wholeheartedly recommended to anyone willing to pay at this rate level. I actually got more than I expected. The place is well established and maintained, with a polished staff that most business travelers would greatly appreciate. Comfy beds -- sleek and understated surroundings. My one real complaint (as some before me have mentioned): The windows are sorely underinsulated for sound. I was shocked at the number of ambulance or police sirens I heard wailing throughout much of the night -- and I was on nearly the highest floor. If you are noise-sensitive, don't forget your earplugs, at least for insurance.

We really enjoyed the cookies at check in. The rooms were clean and well decorated. The location was perfect. We thought the shower could stand to be updated. Additionally the blankets on the bed were not great, it would be better if they were down comforters. Loved that the late night dining was Pizza Luce.

While the Marquette was once a more 'charming' place to stay, it needed a facelift. Well, after the renonvation just completed, it sure looks better. Rooms are large and well appointed - pleasent to spend time in. The desk is curved, roomy and you have a broadband connection right there. Connected to the skywalk system with shopping all around!

I recently stayed at the Marquette Hotel for a business trip to Minneapolis. I could not have been happier with my decision to stay at this hotel. The location in the heart of downtown (IDS center) is very convenient. The room was much larger than I had anticipated which was a pleasant surprise. Lastly, the workout facilities were excellent in comparison to other hotels I've stayed at. I would definitely stay here again next time.

We paid for the executive package. We were booked into the wrong room, floor. We discovered that rooms are the same. The only difference is access to the executive lobby on the top floor for a free happy hour drink and a muffin in the morning. Save the money. Book a entry room that wil be great - nice large rooms. Save the extra money for a great night out on the town.
