| I was a little concerned that this hotel may not be an appropriate place to bring my wife and kids since I was told it is a romantic getaway. Upon arriving, I was pleasantly surprised that other families were staying as well. After some initial problems with roll away beds for the kids, the hotel was very accomodating. The rest of the stay was absolutely wonderful. The staff was superior and the rooms were extremely quiet. I would recommend highly.

| Beautiful beach. Gorgeous hotel. Very quiet. Impeccable service. Delicious food. I cannot think of one negative. We stayed in the least expensive room and were more than impressed. A suite would be remarkable. The staff was very friendly, very helpful, and wonderful at what they do. We thought we would leave the hotel for dinner at night, but we never wanted to. The restaurants were great! This is heaven on earth.

| What I was looking for was a paradise like location, with beautiful property, instant beach access, several delicious dining options, a highly attentive staff, a gym, a business center so I could keep up on emails with loved ones, and an uber relaxing time. I got it at the Villa Del Sol in Zihua. Sitting under the shade structure (Palapa?) watching the ocean break on the shore just a few feet away, while pondering your next drink (I reccomend the VAMPIRO!) and your biggest decision is what lunch entree you'll have one of the attentive staff set up at a table behind your lounge chair eat while reading a favorite book or magazine. I cannot wait to go back. Highly reccomended.

| Nice break from the stressful world, especially if you're looking for a non-commercial, laid back vacation. The hotel is a real gem - quality and service is excellent. Not really a place for children - which is great for those wanting to avoid them!

| We really enjoyed our experinece at Villa Del Sol. It may become a regular destination for us. Celebrated our 25th anniversary and felt very special throughout the week.

| Overall Rating is a 4. To dine at the hotel was extremely expense. We both had massages, my husband enjoyed his, I left more upset than relaxed, his technique was pounding on my body and talking to me during my session, be very specific to what your requesting. The only other complaint would be the evening noise in our room surround by the bars/restraunts.

| The hotel was absolutely fabulous. It's located only 10 minutes from the airport, but completely secluded and a paradise waiting to be seen. The long stretch of beautiful beach that spans the hotel, can be enjoyed from your own private palapa, or the infinity pool that's conveniently located next to the Cantina. Early November boasts great weather, both evening and daytime with not a drop of tropical rain. It was hot but not uncomfortably hot, actually, it was the perfect weather you would expect for a tropical vacation. Crowds were at a minimum since we were just on the on-set of high season.
