| I had business in downtown Chicago all week, and from this location I made it in 35 minutes as long as I left by 7 a.m. taking Lakeshore. Room was very clean, well-appointed, and quiet. Plenty of eating places in Evanston, which is a great place for walking around. Hotel parking was excellent, and only $10 bucks a day.

| Staff was very nice and helpful, as far as directions, suggestions for dinner, checking bag upon early arrival, etc. There were some college sports teams staying there, but the staff thoughtfully put me on a seperate floor. Physical plant could use some work. The few towels were pretty skimpy, drain in sink was broken so you needed to manually pull the plug. However, I was just staying the night so it wasn't a big issue.

| Liked the location - close to many area restaurants and the Metra. Would make it an even better stay if there were refrigerators and microwaves. Could hear the trains at all hours of the day (not a problem for some, but others did not like it). Liked the covered parking garage (especially since it snowed), but wish that you didn't have to pay $10 per day.

| Good: Our room was clean. We were on the 11th floor, and had a nice view of downtown Chicago and the churches in the vicinity. The surrounding area has plenty of nice restaurants and is beautiful and walkable. Bad: Parking is $10 in the ramp, metered on the street. The staff obviously didn't care to act friendly on checking in. The lobby and mezzanine levels had a horrid stench!

| This hotel is right in the middle of Evanston, within walking distance of great shops, restaurants, the Northwestern campus, and the beach. It would've been fantastic, had it not been for the fact that our room, despite the fact that it was designated non-smoking, smelled awful.

| The room was very clean and the maid service excellent. However, there were too few pillows on the bed and the coffee pot was broken. I suggest asking for a lake view - the trains are very noisy on the non-lake side of the hotel. Parking is limited.

| The hotel provided great service at the front desk and was clean. It was only 15 minutes from downtown and 10 minutes from Lincoln Park, which was a great location. The cost was very affordable and it exceeded my expectations.

| Good value for those looking to stay in Evanston/near Northwestern University. Hotel is by no means luxurious, but is well furnished, quiet, and clean. Staff was extremely courteous and was able to accomodate several special requests. If you need to stay in this area, I would recommend this hotel.

| Very clean, the staff helpful and friendly. Stayed on the 12th floor and the view of the city from our window was fantastic. It was a relatively inexpensive stay for an enjoyable 2 days.

| Air conditioner was compretely out of control! Once turned on, it become very worm. Once turn off, it become cooler...And Fan noise was too big to sleep all night.

| Given the price and number of stars for this hotel, I had very low expectations. These expectations were far exceeded. Location was great with walking distance access to all of Evanston and the University. Cost was unbeatable and accomodations were more than adequate. Would recommend this hotel for others going to Evanston.
