| This is a beautiful property with nothing to do but lay by the pool: no activities, no game room, etc. About 1/4 of the staff speaks English, so if you don't speak Spanish, you may have trouble. Additionally, all food and drink is very expensive, so be prepared. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone with children, as they will lose interest very quickly. We left early.

| we did and had to wait several hours before we got a room. After traveling all night on a bus it would of been nice to have immediately checked into a room, we arrived utterly exhausted.

| This place is truly gorgeous. Maybe I shouldnt say how nice it was, because it will get flooded with tourists. Oh well. It's secluded and feels exclusive without the price. The hotel is beautiful, the beach is perfect, the food is good. We stayed in the room nearest the resident iguanas, who were always sunning themselves when we came back from the beach. The only drawback is the mattresses in the rooms. If you don't like sleeping on concrete, you might want to pack a foam mattress topper. THat being said, I plan to go back to the Zaashila next year!

| Very nice location on a private beach bordered by rocks on both ends. Great pool landscape. Very cosy modern mexican architecture, very tasteful integrated into the landscape. Great view over the bay. If the water is calm you can do good snorkeling around the rocks. Service could be better especially during breakfast. Waiters were slow and not always friendly. The European Plan is misleading and it does not include breakfast.

| We really enjoyed our stay at Camino Real Zaashila. The setting was fantastic, right on the beach, nestled in a beautifully landscaped tropical garden. The service was outstanding, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

| The hotel grounds are kept well. The pool is impressive and great. Although, the deep of the entire pool is very shallow. There are many seagulls in the area, so its hard to eat under a palapa by the pool. The rooms are very spacious (we stayed in a club room with a splash pool). The bathroom is big, the toliet area is separate from the shower and tub and there are double sinks. The shower pressure great.....i have been to other hotels and they have been horrible. I would request a room that starts from #1-40. THe food is great and the breakfast buffet is very excellent. The hotel is located on its own private beach. This is a very romatic place. Oh---the fitness room is not much to workout with. There is 1 treadmill, 1 bike, 1 stairmaster, and then a weight room that was invented in the 70's. The tennis court is grass and looked nice, but we didnt play. Hope this helps.

| The nicest part of this hotel is definitely the pool. The main restaurant and bar are really nice too -- great views, very quiet and relaxing, and the restaurant's reasonably priced. The rooms are fine, though nothing to get too excited about. They were reasonably clean. However, the pillows were extremely lumpy. Hopefully they'll get this fixed.

| For a quiet, relaxing vacation away from crowds, this is an excellent choice. The beach was great...just walk right into the warm surf. The pool was refreshing. No hot tubs, which would have been a plus. Food choices were limited and fairly costly. The area isn't built up yet. If you're looking for a lot of entertainment and activties, you may have to do a little searching. The hotel staff will work with you. Everyone on staff was very friendly and helpful.
