| When my husband and I decided we needed a quick getaway, we looked for an all-inclusive, not expensive, with a beach. This is exactly what we got. We've stayed at all-inclusives before, including the Riu Bambu, just down the block. It was clean, the beach lovely, the food ample but VERY boring (with very little variety), and the beds VERY hard. Unfortunately, it poured two out of the four days. However, the staff worked hard to keep the clients engaged. It attracts few spring breakers because the area is remote (no party town nearby). If you're looking for a place to decompress, read, and relax, go. If you're looking for elegant and fancy, go to Jamaica.

| I just returned from the Rui Naiboa on 3/22/2006. Very relaxing, all of the staff were friendly and very accomodating. Plenty of day time activitie, I enjoyed the Paella & Sangria poolside party. The beds were not comfortable at all they are on the small size. The food was OK. I have previously stayed at RIU in Negril Jamaica, which is a new resort, I was expecting the same level of accomodations in the DR, however the RIU Naiboa is an older hotel, that has been updated. Overall it's a great value, you can eat and drink at the othe RUI resorts in the complex, A great value!! not many Americans, we have yet to discover the Republic Domenicano. P.S. if you come, bring your own wash cloths

| I stayed at Naiboa for 5 days and truly enjoyed my experience. Naiboa is a short walk to the beach and there are always poolside activities to keep you entertained. The food was fine, no complaints. I also had a great time at the Pacha nightclub! All of the RIU staff (bartenders, waiters, etc.) were so friendly and helpful I would definitely go back.

| I've only been home for 2 hours and I'm ready to go back! I wasn't sure what to expect at Naiboa since I was traveling by myself. By day 2, I had discovered several others who had traveled solo and made a few great connections. The staff is amazing. Everyone is very friendly and they do whatever they can to make you as comfortable as possible. The food was excellent, but a little more variety would have been nice. I will definitely be returning to the Naiboa soon.
