| My wife and I just had three very pleasant days. The breakfast was quite well done, and the mangers cocktail hour was well run, if a bit of revolving door drink line. The rooms were very nice and housekeeping was excellent. The pool was well kept, and the highway not intrusive. The beach was about 500 yards away down a street often littered with fast food wrappers, despite frequent cleanups. The beach itself was nice for a morning run or sitting out. The local area has none of the elegance of Old San Juan, a $20 cab ride away, but Mi Casta nearby has good PR food and the Italian Resturaunt at the Holiday Inn across the street was quite good and our best meal. There is a full service grocerie around the corner for any supplies. Renting a car was great to go to the rain forest ( 45 minutes) and to Liquido Beach, a wonderful public beach with nice facilities($3 parking $1 locker and showers). In short, liked the hotel, but as it was more a home base than a destination, would have chosen a location closer to Old San Juan if I had to do it again. If you want to veg at the hotel, you'll be happy.

| I just returned from a 4 day stay in San Juan. The Embassy Suites had free full breakfast every day as well as free full bar happy hour every day. You can beat that! The rooms are a bit noisy for my taste but overall it was a very good experience. I would most definitely return.

| Great hotel, beautiful and always a lot of people in and out. Whether they are there for the casino, Outback Steakhouse, or an event, you can expect it to be busy. The only drawback to this is the atrium design of the hotel makes for a very loud echo throughout the building and into your room. If you don't mind the salsa music til 4am, party on!

| The hotel was pretty nice with a small casino included although it did not have any Poker tables (Roulette, black Jack). Free breakfast and happy hour with drinks every day which was great. Short walk to a few other hotels that did have better casinos with poker and better restaurants. Also a short walk to the beach. Not a bad deal for the money.

| Hotel was awesome, had a casino in main floor didn't go in there but it was there. Outback steak house was located in hotel as well which came in handy when you didn't want to leave to eat. Computers with internet were located in lobby with no extra charge which made checking email really easy before leaving in the morning. Beach was 2 blocks away, not the best beach but it worked perfect to go on banana boats and parasail. 20 min away from Old San Juan, be prepared to spend $20 on Taxi anywhere. But that is how it is going to be from any hotel which is located in Isla Verde. Awesome hotel super clean.

| This hotel is in a great a location, only 2 blocks from the beach. The hotel staff was extremely nice and very helpful when we were planning trips to other parts of Puerto Rico. On top of that, they have complimentary breakfast and happy hour each day.

| Basic, American-flavored suites hotel, very large pool area. Would appeal to Americans looking for comfort and familiarity in Isla Verde, except for the noise level. Indoors, the Casino broadcasts music and activity throughout the atrium, especially on Saturday and Sunday nights, making the pullout couch/bed in the living room unusable for sleep. The pool area is directly adjacent to and beneath a major highway ramp, and nearly directly under the major airport landing strip, with planes landing every 5 minutes or so in the afternoon. As a final straw, the cleaners ignored our "Privacy Please" card on 3 of the 4 mornings we stayed.

| The staff was helpful, the food was good, the room was clean and spaceous. The only thing I did not like, that I was able to work around, was the fact that they did not offer FREE Hi-Speed internet access. It cost me $10/day for five days.

| Stayed a week at this hotel with 2 kids (14 and 11). We were looking for value without giving up the luxury we were used to at previous resorts. This turned out to be a great choice! Location is great in terms of having access to beach, restaurants, stores, etc... Previous reviews, although good, mentioned crossing 2 roads and a highway to get to the beach. Did not seem that way at all. The walk is VERY doable and is quite pleasant. Only one busy street (the "strip") but the cars will stop for pedestrians (Very abruptly, but they will stop.) The hotel grounds are very nice - you don't even realize there is a highway right behind it. Maid service was great, elevators quick, staff very pleasant. This hotel is perfect for families. Full breakfast every morning and 2 hour complimentary cocktails and snacks every day was a real plus. The suites make all the difference in the world with children. 2 tv's, microwave and fridge are a must. There are both expensive, fancy restaurants to go to in the area as well as cheap family fare. We would definitely return to this hotel!

| We, there were four of us. Had a wonderful experience in our hotel in San Juan. The staff was very courstey and helpful. My 2 sisters, sister-in-law and I were very impressed with the breakfast severed that was included with the price of hotel. Lest we leave out the complimentary drinks during happy hours. The pool was well kept and extremly clean. The holel happens to be close to the airport and about 1 hour from the "rain forest". There is a beautiful beach about a block from the hotel. Overall, we were there to sightsee and were gone from the hotel during the day, but at the end of our sighseeing trips, we knew we were home.

| Away from the main boulevard, this hotel is a gem. The manager's cocktail reception every evening (free drinks and snacks for everyone) as well as the free made-to-order breakfast each morning made this hotel a great value for our family. The beach is 2 blocks away. There are many local area restaurants, clubs and even a Walgreen's close by. People are extremely friendly here. We can't wait to go back!

| Hotel is very close to airport (3 minutes) so we heard lots of jet noise when we were at the pool. It didn't bother us, but some people may not like it. I didn't hear the planes inside or at night. But, the hotel is a casino so there is some casino noise at night. They have a good breakfast buffet which is included with your room.

| We really enjoyed the whole stay at E.S. Evenwith the fact we have four children the room situationis dealable. The only real nightmare was the fold outcouch...it was so bad and pratically falling apart! Ifhotel expect people to sleep in these things...they oughtto be somewhat comfortable!
