| This hotel was standard and I would recommend it to someone looking for an inexpensive stay outside of the downtown/French Quarter area of New Orleans. It could have used a hot tub, but was otherwise quite good.

| I thought the hotel personel was very friendly and helpful during our stay. I would say that if you don't mind the small things about having the most luxious stay, you should be allright. You get your dollar's worth when you compare this hotel to others close by. I would say that the biggest disappointment was the free breakfast. The food never kept up with the amount of people wanting to eat. There was only a few cereals, maybe 2 types of juice, and toast to munch on. No fruit or anything like that.

| We weren't familiar with New Orleans' transportation system and wondered whether we would need a car. We found this hotel in Slidell to be perfect, low-priced, free-parking and convenient to downtown. Use a car if you wish to explore Louisiana or use the hotel's free and frequent shuttle to the city's hotspots like the French Quarter. You won't miss anything. Our only complaint was the odor of the chemical disinfectants. My wife was allergic to it.

| The room had an extreme moldy & musty smell, and many areas looked as if they hadn't been dusted in over a year. The ceiling above the bed had mold spots growing on it from the extreme dampness in the room, and all of our clothes including the ones packed in our suitcases were damp the following morning. The hotel definitely needs some dehumdifying and is probably at a toxic mold level.

| The hotel advirtised free shuttle service to the French Quarter. This was offered but only one van provided so was almost always full. Lost money in the vending machines-staff said not their problem.
