| Not a very impressive stay. The hotel is aging and showing it;s age everywhere. Rooms look old and dingy. The heating system sounded like a freight train all night. Don't stay here.

| The thermostat didn't seem to respond, so when we were hot, we had to open the sliding door for air. To the hotels defense, we didn't take time to report the problem, since we were gone so much during the day for a convention. Their shuttle bus was easy to find at the airport; and they even shuttled us to a downtown restaurant later at our request. Too far to walk to Salt Palace Convention Center, so if you are attending a convention, make sure there are buses provided by the convention or take a cab.

| Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Our stay was over New Years and with all of the holiday craziness, the hotel maintained it's cleanliness!

| This hotel was a bit overpriced, and it was really in need of a makeover. The beds were not particularly comfortable, and the furniture was out-dated. In addition, the room service was overpriced.

| I had a smoking room, there were burns in the bedspread, the heater put out very little heat, with all the cable networks now it would of been nice to have some HBO channels or something like that. Some comforts like free coffee available would be nice rather that going next door to the gas station for some, not the expensive stuff in the resturant. The Hotel staff were very good in answering questions about area tips.

| We requested our room be made up early and were told by the front desk (2 men)that they will clean the room when they get around to it. We left at 8 and got back at 2:30, it was not done. After that, when women staffed the front desk, our request was taken with no problems. We did find the beds comfortable, although the extra blankets were frayed and ragged.

| everything was great. just aviod Skybar on the 13th floor. there is no open rooftop, the bar is small and drinks are expensive. and they charge a cover! with no skyline to look at, you are better off going downtown to a more popular bar.

| The Red Lion was a real bargain especially considering the overall quality of the hotel and rooms. They have consistently provied some of the lowest rates I've been able to find when booking through expedia and the rooms were clean and very spacious. The location is also convenient to downtown and the highway. I will definitely stay there in the future.

| The hotel was fine and I would probably stay again, but it wasn't anything special and the room seemed a little dirty. at the restraunt downstairs we waited ten minutes and never got a menu so we left. The sky bar was pretty nice and fun.

| If you are looking for value in a Dowtown Location this is a great hotel to stay in. We even got a free upgrade in rooms just by asking at the time of check in.

| Over all for the price it wasn't that bad and was right downtown. The rooms were clean and neat. i would suggest not to get a room near the elevators or within three floors from the nightclub on the 13th floor. The elevators altered the color of the tv's and the music could be heard in the hallways. But it was less expensive then the other hotels around it.

| Beds are great. Really comfortable and the room is very clean. Bathrooms are small and the bathroom fixtures (both sink and shower)are old and dated.Work fine.The toilet seat is small. Free internet is great especially for the price. Rooms stay cool. Heat was not responsive probably due to changing weather. Would definately recommend. Other 3 stars are disgusting.Best 3 star in Salt Lake city downtown Fitness center small but adequate.Restaurant small but very good;big portions.

| The hotel room met our needs quite comfortably. Of all the hotel personnel, I thought the shuttle driver was the friendliest. The desk personnel were OK. My experience in the hotel breakfast restaurant was interesting. Three women were working the front, 2 servers and one cashier. Non of them were personable or friendly and you could see the lack of cooperation and teamwork on their part. I would hate to see what it would have been like if they were busy. Frustrating. Get me out of here... Can I get my breakfast to go, please?

| Unfortunatly our stay was not 100% enjoyable because they decided to pick our week to repair the pool and jacuzzi. After skiing all day it would have been nice to have access to the jacuzzi.

| Very happy with hotel. Room and bathroom very clean. Bed, pillows, linens extremely comfortable. Shuttle was great. We used it for travel to and from the airport and to daily meetings.
