| My room was very small, but I just wanted a room to spend the night anyway, so it didn't bother me that much. There is a mall across the street where you find places to eat, a Safeway, and the health club if you are into exercising even when you are on vacation (and it is complimentary).

| good location, the air conditioner was quite noisy. They should offer HBO or SHOWTIME. They should offer parking for free, but the extra charge was at least minimal.

| The furnishings, room facilities were all clean, elegant and comfortable. The hotel is close to Vancouver downtown and also has lots of good restaurants within walking distance. The only thing I found lacking was the help from the receptionist. When I enquired about the local and international phone rates (to the US), she said that we'd have to contact the phone company for that information. I got the same response when I asked her the price of wireless internet access; she asked me to check with their internet service provider. IMHO, receptionists should know such things or at least point you to someone who can give you the information immediately.

| Great location, excellent price. Short walk or drive to downtown. Rooms were spacious and clean. Service lacked a bit, with request to have late checkout not well recieved. Booked a non-smoking and recieved a smoking room, due to late arrival we did not notice until it was too late.

| If you don't mind staying slightly outside of the downtown activity areas, the Plaza 500 hotel is a comfortable and affordable place to stay. Bus and taxi service is easy for a short jaunt downtown. We also found restaurants and a movie theater just four blocks from the hotel. The Plaza 500 doesn't have a pool, but a full-facility gym is available across the street with a free pass from the hotel. The Plaza isn't fancy, but offers all the basics at an affordable price.
