Rondel Village is a quiet place that offers the flexibility of location and the service of a much finer hotel. My room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Even with all the warnings about scams and thieves as well as the constant reminders to keep valuables locked up, I felt safe and secure traversing from my room to the beach every day without the worry of someone breaking into my room.

Having been a budget traveler for most of my life, I'm used to "no frills" accommodations. With that in mind, I didn't have very high expectations of this hotel. Other than its ideal location in the middle of the Seven Mile Beach, I can only describe it as adequate. There were lots of small things that got on my nerves during my stay. Such as: a very small pedestal sink was the only place for two of us to put all of our toiletries, with no other nearby table/counter to put things on, the beds are on wheels, so everytime I sat down, the bed moved a foot, we were only given one small bar of soap to wash our hands with for 7 days, our room was never quite clean, and when I asked for an extra beach towel the desk clerk glared at me and noted on my file that I had "3" towels for my room. For me, it's the small things that make a difference, and I didn't see any effot on the staff's part to ensure I enjoyed my stay or that I was comfortable. If the above mentioned things don't bother you and you only care about staying where there's access to the beach, then I would recommend Rondel Village.

We loved our week here. The staff was helpful at all times and extremely friendly. The attached restaurant and bar on the beach were a plus as well. This is a perfect resort for a family vacation. We intend to return to Rondel Village in the future.

Beautiful location, great staff and easy on the budget. Would recommend it for the traveler who doesn't want to be tied to an all inclusive hotel.

Where did the get those angels at the front desk..it does not get friendlier than that! I was in the Tangerine room. I loved it. Wide open, comfy and bright, balcony over pool, and WIRELESS internet if you like that kinda thing. Good stretch of beach with the cool Lazy Dayz hotel next door. They're my two choices in Negril. You will be so de-stresses when you leave - just dont go looking to stres others or be stressful.. You'll miss the relaxation, and us Jamaicans don't take kindly to nonsensical demands. Eeeez!

The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. You will be required to leave a $100 security deposit on your credit card upon check in. Renting the room safe costs $3 per day as well. The restaurant is ok and you have to give the Jamaican breakfast a try. It's only $5 and is very good. The seafood on the menu is not so impressive and expensive. We stuck to the pizzas, jerk chicken, and curry chicken. They were around $8-9 each for a good sized portion. Pretty reasonable. We also tried the jerk chicken from the roadside stands, stick to dark meat chicken..the breasts tend to dry out from all of the cooking they get. The cost is around $4-7 for chicken and fresh sliced bread. Nyamming Restaurant is on the right side of the road about a 5 min or so walk. It's an unimpressive place with a couple of plastic chairs and tables, the food is awesome! If you're lucky, their dog, Foodie, will come sit by you and pray that you drop something for her.

Stayed there for 4 days as a weekend getaway and enjoyed it very much. The staff especially the young ladies at the front desk was nice and helpful. The food was ok. Get out and enjoy the other restaurants in the area. You have to go to the "Jungle" next door.

If you are looking for a fancy kind of Hotel, this is not it. But I can guarantee you will have a clean room, Quiet environment and a friendly staff. The Restaurant is expensive and the quantity of the food is very limited. Overall if you are just looking for somewhere to just rest and relax, Rondel Village is great for that.

The hotel is very nice and clean. Everything is there. The service was incredible. We got married there and the staff were extremely helpful. All we had to do was show up for the wedding. I was very impress with everything. It is right in the middle if the 7 mi. beach so there are always lots of things to do. I will definitely go back.

Staff were very nice and we have stayed there twice and can attest to their honesty regarding billing. They lack a good coffee maker, but cappuccinos are available next door on the beach.

I was first attracted to Rondel Village by the great customer reviews it got on various forums, and I must say that I was not let down at all. It is right on the beach, is very clean and well-maintained, and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. Someone even got married there during our stay. I would recommend Rondel Village to anyone without hesitation.

If you are like me and don't really like the all-inclusives, then this is the place for you. It is a quaint little villa right on the beach. It has that intimate, quiet feel to it. The staff are very friendly. The beds aren't that great but the room is clean and bright. All of the villas are not ocean view, but the scenery is just as nice. I've stayed there twice and plan on stayng there again on my next trip.
