| The hotel is conveniently located with direct access to the ferries and it is a short walk to the downtown area. With two beaches close by it is a good place to stay for a couple of days. The lifeguards were terrifc!!!!

| All of the elements for a hotel were there, but they weren't in particularly good condition. The main thing the hotel had to offer was that it is directly across the street from the ferry docks for Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket.

| The amenities were nice, and staff very friendly. The food was not good and highly over priced, the rooms were tiny and way out dated. It was loud all night and hard to sleep. we lost power 4 times just 2 rooms they say because of too many people yet there was plenty of vacancy. No coffee maker and the Continental breakfast was a joke, the Coffee Gross. over priced run down hotel, and LOUD!!!!!!!

| Hotel was so clean, rooms were quite large and the beds were comfortable. Had a nice balcony with a sliding glass door to read on, and a fridge was provided. Only negative was a smaller sized bathroom, but this did not take away from how nice the place was.

| Staff were very accommodating and nice to deal with. Heat in room did not work and staff was responsive and they worked with us, within the limitations of a busy vacation week to find a replacement room that was satisfactory. Clean and well maintained. Restocking of breakfast was consistent throughout breakfast hours, though selections were limited. Interesting note that the room had no place to hang clothes. Adjacent rooms also appeared to have no closets or coat hooks. Fortunately it was an informal stay with only coats to deal with.

| The location of this hotel is great for seeing the city and taking the ferry with out having to pay for parking. The room we stayed in did not have a table or any chairs even though there was plenty of room. There is no closet to hang up your clothes. For the price, I could over look the short comings.

| I realize prices are high on the Cape; however, for the price we paid, I felt the quality of the hotel and room was not up to par. The continental breakfast was not adequate at all. We paid extra for a harbor view; save your money and don't request it as it was not worth the extra price.

| The cape is not known for its hotels..most of them are old and most people rent homes for a week at a time. THis old place is a renovated hotel, and they are trying very hard to be a good hotel, but the problem is the sound-proofing. A soccer team was at the hotel when we were there, and they sounded like they would come thru the ceiling...I suggest you stay on an upper floor if you need peace and quiet. The continental breakfast is hardly worth the trouble..but a quick walk to main street will get you a good breakfast. I was a repeat patron, and the setting makes it worth returning

| Room was OK until the leaky roof dripped water into the smoke detector and it went off...several times. At 2:30 in the morning, after the second alarm,I went down to the front desk where they gladly and easiliy changed our room to one a couple of doors down. Service is fine. Bldg needs maintainence. My wife will never go back.

| The rooms were not ready at 4:00. The telephones didn't work. The room keys didn't work. The lifeguard wore jeans and sneakers. I'm not sure that this really is a hotel because the room are entered from the outside. The showers were interesting...if you showered early or late, you had water - if not, you had no water pressure and you couldn't even call the front desk! The view from the room was nice though and will be even better when the wintering boats move!

| right across the street from the ferries to marthas vineyard and nantucet! Ugly decor, you could grab the metal of the mattress springs on the side of it, 1" gap under the flimsy entrance door, the exhaust fan didn't work and the continental breakfast was good if you like cranberry muffins, cranberry coffee cake?, watery cransomething juice, white bread (toasters don't really work)and an apple. Swimmung pool looked ok but from our room you had to go outside to get to it and there was no changing area so you would have to go back wet-- don't go in the off season!
