The hotel was all around a great place and a good deal at the Expedia price. The only thing that could use improvement was the help at the front desk but everyone was very friendly.

Most comfortable hotel bed and pillows I have ever slept on. Keep in mind that NYC is NOISY at night (as well as during the day). My wife had problems sleeping through the noise, but I did not, even though we were on the 12th (top) floor of the hotel.

Although the room was small...it is New York and yet 3 of us were quite comfortable in one room. The beds were fabulous as well as the service. The rooms were quiet and we did not hear any 'street noise' which is unusual for a Manhattan hotel as well. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We did not dine in the restaurant but did enjoy room service our 1st night which was good.

The Iroquois is located in mid-town, right off Fifth Avenue, an easy walk to the theatre district, Rockefeller Center, and Grand Central Station among others. It's a small hotel with nice touches, like the library off the lobby and a well-regarded restaurant. High point: the Irish coffees in the bar are excellent! Low point: our room's only window looked onto an air shaft, so it was dark night and day - request a room with daylight!

Small rooms, but to be expected in Manhattan. Had difficulty with plumbing - toilet nearly flooded twice during our 3-4 night stay

A charming and warmer hotel would be hard to find.Every time we returned from a hurried day of exploring NYC, we were met with warm smiles and pleasent greetings from the doorman and the staff. The rooms were small, but clean and added to the charm. The service was excellent during our stay. Everyone was helpfull and seemed to enjoy doing so. We will highly recommend staying here for great vacation memories.

I booked a deluxe room and requested a non-smoking king. We arrived about 10:30 am and were told we could have a non-smoking room about 3:00 pm. When my wife returned she was put in a smoking queen. After complaining we were moved to a very small non-smoking queen, with the explanation all the kings were taken. At midnight we heard someone at the door and two men with a key had the door half open and tried to enter. We slamed the door and yelled. We proped a chair and luggage between the door and an opposing wall to brace the door shut. I called the front desk and was told "sorry, it was the bellman, the room was double booked" and they were "looking for someone else's luggage, did we have it". Obviously not I said. Happily we left the next morning, and will never return.

This Hotel was a clean and friendly. The bar and restaurant were fabulous. Only complaint that I have is the size of the rooms, and the noise. We stayed in room 404 right on the street. The bed was very comfortable. Would I stay there again; only if there wasn't a room at my favorite hotel. That is what happened this time.

Just got back from New York on 03/06/2005. Starting to plan my next vacation back. This hotel was one of the best. It is small and charming with someone always on hand to help you with your room or any questions about New York! I love the fact that the service was outstanding!!! Something you do not get when you stay at a large chain hotel.

Our family stayed during Thanksgiving 2004. The location was very convenient near Times Square and the beds were so comfortable. Our daughter loved the complimentary apple cider provided at the front desk.

The room was small but excellently cleaned and furnished. Very comfortable. Close to all of the shopping on 5th Ave and Madison Ave. The service is a little slow, but that is far outweighed by the price, location and quality. We will definitely stay there again, and have already recommended it to friends.

The only negative thing was that I originally signed up for two double beds and I was contacted two days prior to my stay that I only had a choice between a double bed or a queen. I'm not very pleased when I have been confirmed for one thing and then have to settle for something less. The hotel itself was very nice albeit the room was small, which isn't exactly unique for NYC. Very nice atmosphere and a very nice weight room and sauna.

Great small boutique hotel. Rooms are pretty small and so they are not that conducive to spending a lot of time in. But the beds are great. Great for the business traveler. Nice bonus: They have a little library off of the lobby that has net access. (Have even used it once or twice when I was staying elsewhere and did't have my laptop.)
