The hotel was great. Right on the ocean, great pool, happy hour, and breakfast was good too. Evening meals were not good at all.

Hey, Im writing this from my balcony off the room at the hotel, so how you can go wrong.....ok, heres the skiny; Definitely rent a car if you are w/o the kids and want to explore, and see places such as "old San Juan " which is a must see, again without the kids...ours are at home in Boston.Very young kids dont bother...its not for them...stay at the hotel which is for them. The food at the hotel is waaaayyyyy over-priced and not really reflective of the native cuisine, go into Dorado to eat...we liked PeeWee's Rib joint and a few others in town...Dorado is a sleepy quiet town, so dont expect anything more....from here San Juan is a good 25 miles away, which after you've had a couple drinks kind of sucks...the pool area is good, the beach so-so.....kind of small. However, the free nightly Happy Hour is great(5:30-7:30) as is the free breakfast each morning....eggs, sausage, bacon, everything....great for a 3-5 night stay, 7 nights here and you might get bored near the end....I hope this helps......

We have been to puerto Rico in the past and decide to try a different area because this time we took the kids. We found a place were people were very friendly. Hotel and rooms were clean and well mantained. Room service was a little slow but great. Well mantained beach and a pool We were able to enjoy ourselves and keep an eye on the kids without the panic of an extremily large place. Shuttle service to the nearest casino only on Thursday Friday and Saturday. Head up if you are looking for something to do. Complimentary breakfast was really good. Kids had fun and so did we.

The resort was very nice. Free breakfast buffet was great. Happy hour free drinks by the poll 5:30PM-7:30PM was a plus. The pool area is one of the most beautiful I've seen.

We as a family were not impressed at all, It was a clean hotel and well maintained, but for the comfort and hospitality we were disapointed, and if you have a car like we did if was a nightmare getting parking, and nobody offered to help with bags or open the doors for you, the staff were not friendly and nobody had a smile. i would Not recommend this place to anybody.

Hotel is laid out nicely, but a little to pricey for what they had to offer. There's other hotel in the area which offer more for your money.

Fantastic hotel -- great service and great location. Must eat at the local restaurants in town if you want a true taste of Puerto Rican cuisine.

a good place to stay if you want just pool, beach and golf. Not much night life at this hotel. Its reasobly priced and has transportation available to other nearby hotels. Dorado is a nice town with some nice restaurants. Short cab ride to them.

Very impressed with this hotel. It was my first trip to PR and it was beautiful. Friendly staff, great location. However, I was not impressed with the beach. If you prefer the pool, this is the perfect place for you!!!

The hotel was an excellent choice, however our room was located above the bar so we were subject to nightly live entertainment as well as the annoying sound of chairs being scratched across the floor.

The hotel was clean but if you are a single traveler and want to go on tours the hotels policy is to have at least three people. Unfortunately I was unable to see PR as I would have liked. Driving was a concern because of the traffic and the way people just drive and change lanes without signaling. The hotel staff was gracious but a price for a bag of potato chips in the hotel was $7.00. Meals in the hotel was affordable, presented and prepared to our liking.
