| This Howard Johnson Ocean Resort Hotel was situated in an ideal location directly across the street from the ocean. Another great feature is the boardwalk in front of the hotel that can be used by joggers or walkers.

| ocean view was beautiful, sun would rise just outside our window. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Location was perfect, just walk out the door and you are at the beach. Pool was small, but my 10 year old son loved it. Lots of little shops and great places to eat.

| If you love the beach like I do, you will love Howard Johnson's on Deerfield Beach. If you walk out the front door, you are on the beautiful beach. There are restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The rooms are very clean and are kept up by an exception housekeeping staff on a daily basis. A local newspaper was delivered to our door every morning. A restaurant and patio bar are located on the premisis and as we were leaving a brand new restaurant was about to open right in the hotel. The outdoor pool area was always busy and kept immaculately clean. The staff was always there and ready to help or answer any questions. The only negative about this hotel is that on April 11th, they starting charging $6.00 a day for parking. I would not mind this but for the fact that you have to park in a lot (attended)down the street and around the corner. It was a bit inconvenient, especially when we checked out in the early morning and had to walk to get our car in the dark. However, the hotel has a security guard ready to escort you if needed. All in all, I loved my vacation at Howard Johnson's Deerfield and plan on going back soon.

| The hotel's staff does not speak different languaje than English. You won't find a refrigerator inside the room you must pay for that $ 5.00 each day. We could not believe it also you won't find a minibar...The Howard Johnson Ocean Resort does not have a internet room.The fitnes room is just 1 machine.

| The beach access is great - nice lobby too. Restaurant was not finished when we visited but it should be nice when done. The only disappointment was the pool area which was less than appealing.

| The location was great for beach goers--rooms were comfortable, room service was quick and good. The only thing missing --in this day and age--was High speed internet connection for "a working vacation". Not everyone has dial-up capability.

| The hotel and surroundings were very noisy. There were times we could not sleep until 3 AM because of the noise outside. Walls and windows need more noise isolation. There were bugs (small ants) in the room. Staff was not attentive when we reported the noise problem and asked for another room. Restaurant and bar in the hotel were third class at best (e.g. we were served coffee in cups with lipstick on them while waiter was shocked that we refused to use those cups.)

| this was our first trip with our two boys (ages 4 and 2). the hotel was a perfect location, we just walked across the street to play in the sand. when it was nap time or potty break time, we just crossed the street again. the kids enjoyed having a swimming pool, too.
