Hotel service staff was friendly and prompt. Room service took only 30 minutes and the food's not half bad. Any problems we had were attended to quickly. The front lobby looks good, but the furnishings in the rooms are a tad old and dingy -- a bit on the 70s side. But the beds are VERY comfortable - soft mattress and duvet. Great selections on the video on demand system in the hotel. I guess you had to since there's not much entertainment around the hotel itself. A short distance from the hotel is an outdoor mall that has about 75% occupancy, but there are plenty of restaurants, supermarket, and movie theatre within walking distance of the hotel.

We stayed two nights at a special expedia rate and found good value for the money. The exercise facility lacks a universal machine but the treadmills, cycles, and elliptical machines are first rate. The hotel is well located for all major attractions. You can walk to shops in Paseo Colorado and take the Arts Bus to the Norton Simon Museum -- a must see.

We like the location of this hotel very much. Quite hotel. The reception is very helpful and gave us a quite room. Walking distance to two shopping area. The hotel is somewhat old and the bed is too high and a little too soft. The room is very large. Would be nicer to have a love seat instead of a single sofa chair. Parking info is not available on its internet. Have to call to find out. Reasonablly priced though.

The only problem was the sink drained extremely slowly and we reported it to the cleaning lady. It was not fixed. The shuttle service was extremely helpful and courteous. It was a pleasure to enjoy an excellent hotel without the "stuffy" atmosphere.

The hotel's restaurant is an undiscovered marvel! The food was great, drinks from the bar were fantastic and the service was excellent. I rarely patronize any establishment two nights in a row, but I made an exception, even though the Sheraton Passadena is within walking distance of several eateries in the Old Town Pasadena entertainment area.

The hotel room was clean and convenient to downtown Pasadena. The bed was outstanding, but the size of the room was small and the height of the ceiling was too low and covered with an ugly foam like substance. In conclusion, it was OK, but a newer hotel in the area might be nicer.

A 5x magnifying mirror in the bathroom? Yes. Excellent touch to a fabulous room. Great location. Friendly service. A comfortable bed I could actually sleep in. The shuttle driver took me on a little tour of the downtown area. I can't say enough. I want to go back just to stay at the hotel.
