| From the moment you enter the hotel, you feel the history of the city and the southern hospitality. It starts at the entrance with the 1800's carriage and welcome attendants, continues through the lobby with paintings of historic Charleston and ends with a well appointed room. With the centrally located hotel, you are never more than a few minutes away from shopping (King Street shopping district) and five blocks from E Bay and restaurant row. Plan on leaving your car parked at the hotel. The best way to explore and enjoy the city if by foot.

| I was staying here the night before my wedding....Upon check in, they had my arrival date as being on the day before.....My Expedia Paperwork was correct, but their information was wrong. They were booked for the night....After punching some buttons, they put me in a great room with a balcony. They were professional & kind through the entire experience. When I left the next morning, everyone wished me luck....Very clean bathroom & tub & friendly staff.
