We were overly impressed with the this Ritz hotel. From the moment we arrived, excellence was always upon us: -Constantly being adressed either in passing or by last name -Fruit dishes throughout the hotel -Constant soothing aromas filling the inerior -Exceptional, relaxing atmosphere inside and out -Nightly turn down service with chocolates and an inspirational quote for the night There is something for everyone here: Hammocks, beaches, family swimming pool, heated and jacuzzi pools (for the romantic nights), outdoor eatery. This was a perfect resort secluded away from the Miami scene. After one visit we decided, when we go to Miami from now on, this is where we will be staying.

Extremely nice hotel with a very friendly and helpful staff. The grounds are well maintained. It is also very well located - a short distance from South Beach, Downtown, Coconut Grove etc. Our room even had a stove and microwave - some hotel units are actually condos. The hotel has a car rental office on premises and is very convenient.

I had spent several days of research looking for just the right over the top resort hotel to surprise mother with for her birthday. Well, Mission Accomplished! All of the positive reviews I have read thus far have been dead on accurate. These folks are extremely consistent and sincerely go the extra mile to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. We would highly recommend it as a relaxing getaway. We went in mid June of 06 and the temps were a nice breezy 82 degrees. A far cry from the sweltering 94 degrees of humidity we where getting back home. Plus we go on during off season rates, good deal! Tip: Rent a car with a GPS navigator. Yes it pricey with the valet and all but you get huge returns after you get to tour all of Miami, South Beach and the various little districts within the city on your time. And, you can also see how much money you save when you take a look at the cab fares, not exactly inexpensive. There was some seaweed by the resort shoreline but again, rent a car and drive yourself out to South Beach, it was a tranquil 20 minute drive with the most gorgeous backdrops along the way. It was a bit difficult for me to focus on the road with the gorgeous 360 view all around. To residents of the D.C. Being a native Washingtonian we have all been quite spoiled with free admission museums galore. Not so in Key Biscayne, Miami, or any other city in the U.S. for that matter. Be sure to bring plenty of disposable income, especially when staying at the Ritz.

The Ritz Carlton Hotel was an exceptional hotel. We were impressed since the first moment we arrived to the hotel. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly. We received the royal treatment as soon they opened our car rental door. Even though we arrived an hour earlier check in was fast and with no problems. The room was outstanding, I really mean it, this guys really make sure the rooms are cleaned properly before you arrive. The only complaint we had it was that sometimes the housekeepers forgot to replenish the toiletry supplies. The food in the restaurant by the pool was ok, but their mango strawberry margarita it's a must! The beach was nice but small, lots of seaweed though. The hotel provides you with towels and a chair, if you have sensitive skin you can rent an umbrella for ten bucks. Unfortunately, jet skies or waive runners are not allowed to run from the beach. I have to mention that the customer service was outstanding, the hotel staff really goes the extra mile trying to satisfy your needs or help you out on anything you might need. The Ritz was a superb hotel like I never seen before and it really makes the money you spend worthy.

This was our first stay at the Ritz and it was amazing. The entire staff was more than accomodating greeting us by name morning, noon and night. A bit surprised at all the seaweed lining the beach but still beautiful and very relaxing. By far the best pina coladas I've ever had although a bit pricey. Fabulous place to stay to unwind and do nothing. Overall the Ritz was definitely an experience I would highly reccomend it!

This resort is great. Wonderful place to stay, and to relax. Absolutely beautiful grounds, and it is such a pretty place inside. My wife and I were very taken back by the over all experince. The only downside was all of the seaweed on the beach and in the water. If the beach was nicer I don't think I could have been any happier with our stay. Comfortable beds with a nice view from our balcony. We loved our room.

This is a terrific Ritz property. The service is top drawer and the pool is wonderful. The beach is a little short and a little dirty, but we were there when Hurricaine Dennis hit so that is probably not a fair assessment. Would go back again in a heartbeat.

This was our first time staying in a hotel of 5 star quality and let me tell you -- it truly was worth every penny. If you like being greeted by name, doors opened and closed everywhere. Staff speaking to you on every ounce of property from cooks, chefs, bellhops, cleaning staff -- they were all overly nice and courteous. The bed felt like my bed at home which is also a first. The view of water was spectacular, beach and pools were awesome and the in hotel spa was off the meter. If you want to experience true luxury on a trip/vacation and have the extra cash -- you cannot go wrong with the Ritz Carlton. You have to pay for valet parking nightly and the restaurant food is high priced with a limited selection but everything else is plush.........

This resort was excellent. The service was superb and sincere. Rooms were among the quietest I have ever stayed in. My wife is a light sleeper and she slept like a stone. The views of the ocean are great and the resort grounds are impeccable. The resort is especially great for families since you have to enter a private drive that is gate guarded to get anywhere near the resort. Even Miami local remarked that this hotel is the lowest crime location in greater Miami. On-site food was great, but expect to pay a premium for convenience. The Library Bar has the most complete coolection of scotch in town along with reasonably priced appetizers & snacks. We traveled all over Miami(rental car is a must) and the tropical island feel of Key Biscyane cannot be matched if you desire a relaxing & exotic place to stay. Key Biscayne has many eating options, get the listing from the concierge at check-in, phonebook is useless. Linda B's steak house was good ($17-$30 per plate) & Haagen-Daz was a favorite stop. Local recommended archie's pizza, it was always busy.

The service at the hotel was outstanding, as is usual any any Ritz Carlton hotel. The property was magnificent, especially the Spa. There is simply no better place to take a vacation than at a Ritz Carlton Hotel. Any Ritz property will do, really, but this one was quite nice as the water was gorgeous and this location is 15 mins from Miami and 40 mins from the Everglades.

We experienced the best services in the US. The hotel staffs are well educated and never showed their negative attitudes, welcoming all the guests equally. I respect their dedications to their guests.I hate people saying "what you pay is what you get." As a business person in a service industry, I strongly believe that customers deserve more than what they pay. If service providers have a pride to what they do, they can return 120%. This hotel proved my belief.
