The continental breakfast was especially diappointing they were only serving 3 varieties of pastries which were fresh but not especially satisfying, orange juice, and coffee. They had no sit down breakfast it was all to go. On the third day I experienced ants coming from the washroom and spotted a couple of ants on my bed. I did bring that to the managers attention. Overall I was disatisfied.

This hotel was in a good location because it was close to San Diego and Tiajuana. The hotel was newly remodeled inside, the bathroom was nice except the shower head should have been replaced, because the pressure/concentration wasn't very good, had to take a longer shower to get soap off. The grounds of the hotel was nice. When I first got to the hotel and got my key for the room (which was regular key not a card key like most places) and saw the doors of the hotel I thought the place was going to be bad, but was pleasantly surprised. All in all it was a good 4 night stay. I would stay at this hotel again.

3 blocks or so to the trolley station made for enjoyable day trips into downtown S.D. and south of the border. Hotel was clean and well maintained. We requested a quiet room and they put us up front near the lobby. Staff were extremely helpful. Iron and ironing board avail at the front desk. Refrigerator and microwave in every room. Very convienent. Good location with lots of dining choices nearby. Would definately stay again!

The ideal thing aobu tthis hotel was that it allowed us to afford staying in San Diego whiel still being a pretty nice hotel. Not a luxury hotel, but we had a large room with two queen beds, a microwave and fridge are included for anyone who is staying for a longer period of time. A real crib was provided for our baby. Access to Sea World and the Zoo was easy via I-5. The price was lower as it is a lower middle class suburb, not downtown San Diego, but beach access is avail at nearby Silver Strand beach. Overall a very good value for the price.

I was a little nervous first to book this motel because I decided for a low price. I was VERY pleased with this place! The location is decent (no shady area), the motel property is clean, well maintained, well iluminated at night, the pool is nice and clean, decent landscaping. The room was recently remodeled with new carped, comforters, new sink and and the bath had been remodeled. Also, Cable channels with HBO was included. I had a pleasant stay and would definately stay there again.

I was given a room, in fact, it was the only room that didn't have a safety lock like all the other rooms had. When I questioned the night clerk about this, he seemed disinterested, so I checked out one other room that was available, however the lights didn't work and it had an odor to it. Also, I paid two nights extra for two guests (4 total), and the night clerk was reluctant to provide additional towels for the extra guests which I paid a fee for. The first night I had to pick up the towels from the lobby and the night clerk didn't even have all towel sizes available, or so it was according to him. The second night I insisted the extra towels be brought to my room. Also, these towels should have been provided without my having to ask for them since they were aware of my extra guests on both nights and had collected my money for them in advance.

Have stayed here 4 or 5 times and each time was very comfortable. You also have free wireless internet access and free local phones. Will stay here again if in San Diego!!
