They could use a bigger area to eat breakfast buffet. It was hard to get a table to sit at.

We've been staying for years. Request the non-freeway side of the hotel, it gets to noisy otherwise. They have high speed internet free in the lobby and a great continental breakfast. Conveniently located next to the freeway and within minutes of beaches and local attractions. Works for us!

They have a nice breakfast. The internet service rarely works and no one seems to have any power to do anything about it. As inconvenient as it is, it does work in the lobby. The rooms are very, very dirty...no thorough cleaning in a long, long time. No control over compact only parking outside of parking garage...almost couldn't get out in morning.

first time staying here, haven't been back to San Diego in a couple of years (usually stay down by the convention center). Convenient, and room was quiet (non-freeway side). Woke up with a bad back, but don't know if I can blame it on the bed...

While this hotel is in a great location, clean and comfortable, I found the staff rude and unwilling to help with simple tasks such as directions and public transportation options. The little info I was able to get from them was inaccurate. I felt I was imposing when asking questions.

We stayed in a room close to the front of the hotel, we had no problems, service was excellent, the breakfast was great, and their little shop is open 24 hours in case you forget something, that was really helpful. The hotel staff was very helpful in planning our daily trips. We had a wonderful time.

Half of the rooms (namely, all 2-bed rooms) are overlooking a major freeway (I5), and don't even have dual-pane windows. The noise makes it virtually impossible to rest or sleep.

The Comfort Inn is a nice hotel. It's located very close to the airport. Be prepared for noise from the highway, because it is right next to the interstate. There is a great deli in the hotel. This is a nice hotel and a great price.

We stayed there for 2 nights but would not go back for the next time. The room was not so clean and I just didn't let my 2 yrs. old son to touch anywhere. The breakfast was ok and it offered waffle but not too many choices of others. The room we have was by the freeway, it was so noisy. The staff was not helpful and rude. I am not recommand to others.

The hotel was nice, the only thing I would like to mention is that it is RIGHT ON THE FREEWAY. Traffic is constant, 24 hours a day, and you can definitely hear the noise in the hotel rooms. It might be helpful to request a room poolside instead of freeway side. We did like the hotel. It is convenient and only 2-3 blocks from Old Town.

The place is good (15 mintues walking to the Old Town) and quite. The free breakfast is excellent. They also provide a microwave oven and refrigerator in my room. The room is a little small. But considering the price, it is ok. But note: you need to sign up the shuttle to airport 3 hours before the time. The hotel is not too far away from airport, so I just take a texi (about 10$~15$).

Very good location for both downtown San Diego and San Diego International Airport (both a less than 5 minutes drive from the hotel). Not very suited for an extented stay, but perfect for one or two days. I did not use all the facilities and services they offer (business center, free breakfast, pool) but from whay I saw they were certainly okay for the price and star rating for this kind of hotel.

My family and I stayed at this hotel during spring break. The hotel had no vacancies the whole time we were there. Even though there was that many people, there was plenty of food for everyone at breakfast, the noise level was very tolerable and we always had hot water. The walk to the Old Town shops and eateries was very enjoyable!! We would stay at this hotel again, we really enjoyed our stay!

I would stay at this hotel again for the complimentary breakfast alone... belgian waffles, fruits, yogurt, muffins, bagles, danish. The location is fine, right near Old Town, trolley, and restaurants. The room was ok but be sure to get one on the front side of the hotel away from the highway. The shower head had 4 massage settings. There are 2 computers with internet for use in the lobby which is very convenient. The room had that motel smell but it was bearable for the 5 nights I was there.

A very neat place. The interior is well finished and comparable to a hotel. The rooms are nicely layed out, not like in many motels where the rooms' window facing an exterior corridor and you can hear people walking by. The rooms are located on both sides of an interior corridor and each room has privacy. The room is nicely finished with spacious bathroom, decent furnitures. Bath tub and towles are comfortable, never a problem with warm water running low. The room is conveniently equiped with a microwave, refrig, hair dryer. There're free high speed internet in a small bussiness center off the lobby for guests. Loacal calls are free. Continental breakfast is also offered from 6-10am. We also found it very convenient that there is a in-house 7-11 sort of small store where you can buy things. For example on Christmas eve we arrived late and all the stores are closed but we are able to get what we needed in the hotel. Although this place is not located right in the middle of the old town area, which means you can walk off your stairs and the shopping and resturants are right down. But we did not find this inconvenient at all. It's about 5 minutes walk to all the old town shops and resturants. The walk is thru a nice street with lovely houses, condos and office buildings. Overall we are very pleased with this place and feel that we get great value for the rate we paid.

The hotel is in a bad location, with no dining or entertainment within walking distance. Additionally, the rooms are tiny and poorly furnished. Our mattress appeared to be decades old, and we went three nights without sleep. The entire property was dity and poorly maintained.
