| This Hotel is not a five star place to stay and is not intended to be. The staff was very courteous, clean rooms, and close to Beach, golf, and a good Restaurant. Yes, when we return to St Augustine.. This is [probably where we will stay.

| grandpa said he loved the bed - very comfortable queen beds in two rooms for 3 nights stay. small fridge units were very useful for fresh fruits, juice, milk and leftovers :) Pool is very nice and clean. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Take sun shades for your vehicle - almost no shade in parking area (typical!) we used large beach towels, as high temps were over 95 in mid May. For beach access, we drove across the street to public parking area by the pier to shorten the heat exposure for elderly folks.

| I was very pleased with this hotel and the very friendly office staff. The room was very comfortable and clean. I didn't realize there would be a fridge and microwave, so that was another nice surprise since I was staying for a few days. It is very close to the historic district, which was nice since I had to drive back and forth a couple times each day. I would definitely stay here again for the price, compared to the higher priced hotels in the historic district. Wish there could be some low/no-carb alternatives in the breakfast selection. Cereal and donuts about sums it up.

| My family (husband, myself & 2 kids) stayed here for Mother's Day weekend. I was very pleased. Everything was clean. Check-in was smooth. We asked for extra pillows (hotel pillows are usually a little flat) and we were given as many as we wanted with no fuss whatsoever! The indoor pool was fun, it was not too hot, just a little cool but it was worth it not to have to slather everyone in sunblock before swimming. The amenities are standard hotel fare - but are clean. Even the cable television offered lots of stations (a hit with the kids). The continental breakfast consisted of muffins, donuts, danishes, toast, bananas, coffee, milk and various juices. Nothing fancy but everything was fresh, even the cereal. And there was enough for everyone and it was kept well stocked. Another plus was that we had two queen beds. At most hotels you get two double beds and we feel cramped (one parent & one child in each bed) so it was really nice to have the extra room. The bathroom, the refridgerator and the microwave in our room were clean also. For the price, I don't think we could have picked a better place for my "weekend off". Oh, the hotel is close to the beach although you have to cross the main street. Just watch what you're doing and it's okay. Right now (05/06), there is a lot of construction going on at the Bridge of Lions so be prepared for traffic back-ups when heading into downtown St. Augustine. This is expected to be ongoing for some time.

| This hotel was probably the nicest of the lower star hotels I've ever seen... and I do ALOT of traveling! It was was above and beyond my expectations. We got an amazing rate and it is right across the street from a magnificent beach! I would definitely recommend this hotel and will most definitely be going back to St. Augustine and staying at the Regency within 6 months.

| Enjoyed our stay at Regency. Hotel was clean, everything in good condition. Only complaint was that the room was not made up until very late and we didn't get enough fresh towels. The location is excellent. It's right across the street from Anastasia State Park, one of the best beaches in the continental US in my opinion.

| Hotel was very comfortable and close to the beach. Also has great restaurants near by. Need to include that you need to cross the Bridge of Lions in their directions. A little confusing driving in the center of St. Augustine.Need to be a little quicker in maid service.

| The hotel was across the street from the beach which was very convenient. There's a couple of local restaurants next door and just down the street which was great. The hotel is fine for a beach vacation - just the basics and nothing fancy. There aren't a lot of choices in the area anyway, but I thought it was a little overpriced for what it is.
