Moderately satisfied with our stay here. The location was great and was within walking distance of the beach, casinos, restaurants, etc. The maid service was very quick and kept the room very clean. Could have used a better shower as only a standing shower was included with drain at the bottom. Kind of felt like I was showering in the dorms. Overall good value.

This hotel has an excellent location, right next to the major casinos and a great new shopping center. Something for everyone. Great pool and we felt like it was a very good value. I'd stay there again summer or winter season as there's alot to do there.

Rooms are spacious and roomy; hotel grounds are clean; staff is friendly. Ideal location - walking distance to the lake, Heavenly gondolas and Nevada casinos. On the other hand, bed was hard and uncomfortable; breakfast was ordinary and boring

The hotel was nice but could do with a bit of a rewamp; the rooms were large and bright. Breakfast service was a bit slow and not everything was on offer. The suites with the kitchen provided a relaxed atmosphere and enabled us to stay in.

We loved this hotel. For surprisingly little money, you can stay in a great, clean suite only 150 feet from Heavenly's gondola and a few blocks from the casinos and restaurants. The suites have DVD players, fully equipped kitchens, and plenty of pillows and towels. There are 2 pools and hot tubs, and a spa with massage, sauna and steam room. Free breakfast in the mornings. Really nice staff. We will definitely be back.

Clean and reasonably priced accomodations, great location next to the gondola downtown. Very convienient to restaurants, shopping, the grocery store & entertainment - we didn't move the car our entire stay! Continental breakfast is included. Rooms are marked non-smoking, another plus. Not upscale, but definitely confortable. I would stay there again.

Short Walking distance to the Heavenly Gondola, grocery store, downtown shops/resturants and casinos. Daily Breakfast is included even though we has a small kitchen in the condo. Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. While the kitchen and bathrooms were outdated everything was extremely clean and immaculate. There is also covered parking, a heated pool, 2 hot tubs and laundry facilities.

We wanted to have the perfect skiing vacation and we did! The Forrest Suites Resort has the perfect location just meters away from main gondola which takes you to the heart of Heavenly mountain and surrounded by stores, restaurants, bars, casinos, ski rental, lift tickets and cinema. The place is clean and tidy, offers convenient continental breakfast every day and has a 24/7 friendly staff willing to assist. In a nutshell a very convenient location with highly than expected service and quality. Woulde definately go back!!

The staff was 100% accurate with their description of the hotel accomodations as well as the logistics of ski lifts and entertainment. The continental breakfast was sufficient for teenagers! The hotel feels more like a lodge and since it is smaller than the nearby chains, the service was individualized. We requested an additional mattress for the sleeper sofa and had two staff reply to the request within hours.

This hotel is in a wonderful location to the Gondola (not ski in/ski out but can walk to the Gondola and then you take it back down the hill). Also located in walking distance to the casinos, shops, and restaurants. The hotel is a bit older but appears to be in the process of upgrading. The continental breakfast is good--nice selection for this type of breakfast--best of all it is free. The hot tub was nice, however the heater to the pool was apparently broken. One complaint was the comfort of the pull out couch. I know these are not suppose to be comfortable but this one was exceptionally bad. Unless it is for kids, I recommend each person actually have a bed--don't rely on the pull out. Suggestion: if you are taking a shuttle from Reno (South Tahoe Express) get off at the Embassy Suites hotel--it is the closest to the Forest Suites.

Very close to casinos, you can walk no problem. Great pre-christmas room rates for large space. Noise above us was a big problem, next time we ask for a top level room. Not the hotels fault, however. Just kids running around in their ski boots all hours of the day. I'd recommend this location for it's affordable suites near all that is fuh in Tahoe!

We stayed in this hotel last week. We came to Tahoe for my daughters wedding. The hotel was great. We stayed in one of the suites and some of the rest of the family stayed in the hotel rooms. Both were very clean and comfortable. Within walking distance of the shopping, gondola and casinos. A very enjoyable experience!

It's right next to the gondola so it's very convenient for skiing. The rooms are a bit old but it was clean and large. They also had a DVD/CD/MP3 player in the room which was nice. Breakfast was simple but fine. I'd stay there again because of the location and having a kitchen in our suite.

We were only able to stay for one night, but would love to return. Excellent place to stay for long vacations...provides the comfort of a home with a living room and kitchen and within walking distance to stores and restaurants. The staff is friendly and helpful, discounts on rentals offered, and there is even an ice skating rink in the area.

This hotel is old and in need of maintenance, the rooms are noisy. Hot tub had numeous broken and cracked tiles and was half full. Breakfast area was cramped with not enough seating. Mattress on sleeper sofa was worn out. Drain was blocked in tub causing a swimming pool each time used. Room was full of spiders.Location was great and on site ski shop was good.Would have been fine if it was advertised and priced as a one star hotel.
