My family stayed at the Cheeca Lodge April 18-22. We had a suite with a king bed located on the golf course. The service and ammenities at Cheeca are great. It is well worth the extra $39/day for the activities. We had no problem with lines or waiting. Bring a lot of money! Breakfast for 3 was $61. They do not have a quick morning baggle and tea spot. We went to the local restaurants for a lighter breakfast. The hotel is not for the budget traveler.

Its the keys--warm, sunny, and very relaxed. Leave your dress clothes at home and bring upscale sportwear and enjoy the wonderful renovated rooms, excellent spa, and great seafood which you can catch right on the pier. Take the bikes for shopping, lunch, or breakfast, swim in the pool, play a round of golf, work on that tennis game, or do nothing but lie in the sun and get a great tan. Good place for children as well as adults looking to kick back or adventure on the water (such as parasailing, snorkeling, deep sea fishing, sea kayakes, paddle boats, or motorized boats.) We even swam with the dolphins!

This was our third stay. Experienced a little problem with housekeeping - room extreme clean - but had to call for towels, etc on more than one occassion. Would certainly stay the 4th time.

Our stay at Cheeca Lodge was a pleasant experience. Staff was excellent, as was our comfortable lodging. I'd recommend it for a great place to stay.

Beautiful location on the keys. Really nice laid back "tropical " feel to the hotel. It's got real personality . A lot of maintenance going on when we were there in early Jan 2005 . Should be nice when it's finished but the noise was annoying at times.

The Cheeca Lodge and Spa was one of the most relaxing hotels that I had ever stayed in. We enjoyed massages at the spa, dinner, drinks, and beautiful beach days during our stay. Now we are considering the Cheeca for our wedding! I highly recommend the Cheeca! We will be back again!

it's a beautiful resort, but it's not being maintained properly. our phone was out of service for three days. the cable TV/movies went out on our kids for two nights. the keycard system failed on our room and it took 1 1/2 hours (with three phone calls and two angry visits to the front desk) to get it fixed. There is also a mandatory $39/night 'resort fee' per room that seems a bit extreme. It has the potential to be a lovely place, but i wish it were managed better.

One of the best places we have stayed in FL. The food was fantastic and the views from our room were incredible. I especially recommend at lest one meal in the main dinning room. We rented a boat from the resort that was in great condition - excellent snorkeling, swimming and relaxing at the sand bar. The daily resort fee is a bang for the buck - beautiful pool, tennis and a nice par 3. If you run out of options at the resort, there are countless activities within a short drive. We can't wait to return.
