This hotel is very convenient to Logan Airport, and is very nicely run. The staff were some of the most helpful I've seen in years!

The hotel is close to the airport, but in a rather bad neighborhood so once you're there the only way to get something to eat (other than pizza from the bar) is to order take-out or call a taxi. Which is OK. The breakfast was OK, some cereal and fresh fruit. The big plus is the shuttle to the airport that runs every 20 minutes and free wireless (ask for the password).

The checkin service was good. The room was neat and clean. My only complaint was having to wait nearly a half hour for the complimentary shuttle at the airport in freezing weather. However, the driver was very helpful in helping me pull my many pieces of luggage to my room.

The folks here are amazingly helpful. The shuttle service is super-prompt and available to almost any nearby location, including the nearby Wood Island T-station. Highly recommended if you need to stay near the airport.

The people at the front desk were extremely helpful. Without them and the super nice shuttle drivers, we wouldn't have known how to get around Boston. They gave us great tips daily on where to go and how to get there.

I came to Boston to run the marathon and needed a hotel that was quite, relatively close to downtown, provided shuttle service to the "T", and included a good continental breakfast. I found it all at the Hampton Inn Logan. I was not there for the asthetics, otherwise I would have taken out a second mortgage and stayed in town, but overall the facility was very clean, the staff was accomodating and nice, and most importantly for me the shuttle service to the "T" (about 5 minutes away)was excellent.
