| The hotel is a little far from Miami city but the area of Coconut Grove ( walking distance)is very nice. You can rent a car or take a taxi and be able to do sightseeing and shopping in the area Malls. The concergies at the hotel will do their best to help you. If you go with children, their is the pool and you can order videos, videogames and there is also internet access.( of course you have to pay for this services)

| We stayed at the Ritz during Independence Day weekend and it was absolutely fabulous. We were greeted at our car and escorted in the hotel and to our rooms by hotel staff. The rooms are very nice and have either a garden, city or bay view. We had a garden view that overlooked the courtyard with palm trees and a cascading waterfall. It was very soothing to sleep to. The hotel is located within walking distance to Cocowalk. There are plenty of shops, clubs and restaurants to enjoy. The hotel staff is very friendly and courteous, but they fail to tell you that there is a $25 a day valet parking fee. There is no where else to park, not even on the street. Using valet parking is mandatory. You do have in/out privileges, but if there is a small $ difference between staying here and somewhere nice on Sobe...stay on Sobe.

| The hotel is located in a suburban location, a bit far away from downtown Miami. The biggest problem with our experience is that they put us in a room close to the engine/fan room on the 3rd floor, which turns out to be quite noisy in the evening. Otherwise, hotel lobby and service are both good.
