| The hotel is fantastic. It's beautiful and has great views from all around. It's surrounded by marinas so you see all sorts of gorgeous yachts. The 4 pools are fabulous. The location is perfect as it is walking distance to the beach and The Marketplace where there's dining and dancing and plenty of partying!

| Hotel was very pleasant. They were doing consturction to fix up Hurricane Wilma damage, so it was a bit noisy during the day. Suites were well appointed and very comfortable. Service was ok. Not much help in any respect when you try to organize acitvities, but it is easy enough to do it on your own, so this was not a big deal.

| Due to flight troubles we arrived in Freeport 24 hours late. I contacted Expedia to make sure the hotel was aware of the problem and would not give our room away. Well, it happened, we arrived and there was no record of the phone call and they had given our room away. The manager did make every attempt to rectify the problem. We took over a friends room and the hotel gave us a dinner voucher to a very nice restaurant. While it was very frustrating, the hotel did make up for the errors. We would stay there again, just not on Memorial Day weekend.

| First, let me say that there are other, bigger resorts with their own beaches, but you pay the price. If you want to pinch a few pennies like me, the Pelican Bay was definately worth it. All the activitites are literally 5 minutes walk (casino, beach, cruises, etc), and the service was top notch. It seemed like everyone who worked there bent over backwards to make our trip pleasurable. I highly recommend and would definately go back.

| Even a standard room is clean, comfortable, and beautiful. I was on the ground floor with a pool view, I was able to walk right out of my room to the pool, hot tub, and the Yellowtail bar. Absolutely beautiful property, with a friendly staff and security. Access to the beach is literally across the street, and the marketplace is within walking distance! Would definitely go back!!

| The accommodations were extremely comfortable, the room (suite) was bigger than expected and the location of the hotel was perfect. You had easy access to stores, restaurants, entertainment, water sports and tours which were all within walking distance along the marina. Our stay was hightened by the friendliness of the staff and the unexpected delivery of danish every morning to your door. This will definitely be an annual event returning to Pelican Bay.

| Excellent location. Tucked a way but very close to most activities. Service is superior. We were there during spring break with our kids. This hotel does not take spring breakers. We had a great time. The beaches are walking distance and wonderful. Hotel gives you free rides to beaches. The hotel food is expensive but great quality.

| The one bedroom suite was exceptional in many regards beginning with the fresh pastry and fax of New York Times articles delivered to your room every morning at seven. Add an expresso coffee maker and comfortable attractive loveseat and sofa with a view of the bay and mornings or evenings are a pleasure. I could walk ten minutes to a spa, excellent restaurants, and Count Basie Square with live music. The bed linens, bathrobes, and pillows were of highest quality. I would recommend these suites with no reservations excepting the breakfast area invest in several more toasters.

| We chose Pelican Bay from Expedia based on the web-site details; we had never been to the Bahamas and did not know where to stay. So we did not know what to expect as we arrived at the hotel. What a wonderful suprise that it was even better than the web site showed! My husband and I were truly pampered the entire weekend. All of the staff could not have been more friendly or ready to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. They met at us check-in with a glass of rum punch, then we were escorted to a fabulous suite with a view of the channel. The bedroom boasted a King size 4-poster iron bed with a down comforter, and two large cotton bathrobes were waiting in the closet. There was a wetbar with every imaginable snack/drink desired. Every morning at 7 am, a special basket of danish and breads were delivered to the suite via a special door, THEN we enjoyed a delicious continential breakfast outdoors, alongside the pool and channel. The hotel was just a short walk from the famous Port Lucaya Marketplace that has wonderful shopping, food and nightlife. This trip was a celebration for our 21st wedding anniversary, and Pelican Bay made that occassion even more memorable. We are ready to go back!
