This hotel is in the process of a major turnover in ownership. The lobby area looks great but once you go back to the hallways they are poorly light and signs of construction are everywhere. The roomnumbers are paper taped to the door and there are wires hanging out of almost every wall. I felt like I was walking through a gutted hotel.

The front desk was real helpful whenever I needed anything. The cleaning staff could've been a little better but it was ok. Overall it was pretty good.

The actual rooms themselves were okay. The WiFi connections in the hotel are useless unless you have a Wireless card, and there are no movies to rent on the TV.

Did not care for hotel. Buffet breakfast was cold and always ran out of food. I had to serve my own coffee. Horrible servers, understaffed. Problem daily with roll-out bed I ordered. Waited til 10:15 pm one night....we were exhausted and slept 3 in a bed. Next day never received it until late again....then with no blankets or pillows. Service was very poor.

This hotel was also were we attended a wedding and reception. The hotel did not provide adequate staffing for the function, and most of the staff complained constanlly about thier job. Service was sub-par.

this hotel is very dated and pretty run down. The lobby is very nice but the rooms are in need of updating and repair.

It needs some work in the hallways. Lobby looks real good and the rooms are fine but also could use some TLC.Rooms were clean and resturant/lounge was fine too.Hotel is borderline as for recommendation.

It is a very comfortable hotel. Has a friendly staff. There is also a restaraunt and bar in the hotel. And it has a cozy fireplace, with sofas and chairs. And my favorite part was they will give you shuttle rides pretty much anywhere you want to go in downtown. And it is also very close to some very cool things. I would certainly stay here again.

The rooms at the Red Lion (or LaBaron as it is now called) are basically clean and well kept, but with few frills. Towels thin and not very thirsty, so I used several and they were always replaced. The radio on the clock radio did not play very well. The heater in the room was very loud--even in the low setting--so when it kicked on in the middle of the night it would wake me up.The staff was quite friendly and very willing to help with recommendations of places to eat and to offer to provide transporting. For a lower end hotel to have an airport shuttle was very nice. The hotel bar was smokey and a bit gim. The breakfast was not very appetizing, but no worse than the Denny's accross the street.
