| Slow check in everytime, heat or a/c seems to always be broken, weed smell on most floors, dark parking garage, lots of loitering around the hotel

| The cool thing about this hotel is it's character. It seems like a place that has a bit of history behind it. Also the downtown location, if you'd like to be downtown, is good. The service was okay--sometimes bordering on Not Okay. The staff mostly seemed a bit jaded. But, I never really got totally peeved. The cleanliness and hotel maintenance, again, just o.k. But, overall I was comfortable, unmolested and not too terribly inconvenienced. I have stayed in cheaper hotels in Rochester, but have been much less comfortable. I have stayed more in more comfortable, but slightly higher priced or farther-out-of-the-city hotels. Still looking for my fave.

| Found the hotel comfortable and affordable to my company with a prime location in downtown close to my office building. Great stay and nice benefits program - Good job

| Just spent a night here. It's a very comfortable place with a nice staff. Overall, good for the price. Only negative.... they held to their 3PM check in time. I had to hang around the lobby for 45 min before they let me check in.

| Our room was provided with: Bathroom towels that were stained. When replaced for the following day, once again they were stained. The bed was like sleeping on a cardboard box, the worse I've ever experienced. On our bed the blanket was dirty. Our coffee cups were not washed and had hardened coffee on the bottom. They were not replaced or cleaned with maid service either. No coffee was replenished for brewing the following day. Very poorly managed.
