| Initially was very impressed with the appearance of the hotel. Everything looked clean and tidy, and was easily accessable. Booked a tower room, but were given a standard room. Complained, and were told we should have been given a tower room. The desk staff then realised they were over booked, and said no, we should not really have been given a tower room. After some discussion, we were given a tower room. We were very happy. When we arrived in the room, we found the window did not fit the gap, leaving an inch gap. Maintenance turned up with a hammer and eventually fixed the problem. We could not open the window, but it was better than the cold draught. We were told towels would be provided in the pool. When we arrived, there were none. We went to the front desk, and were told towels would be sent there, asap. After 45 minutes in the pool, none had turned up, so we walked, dripping water through the hotel, to our room. Overall, would never stay there again.

| Only about a 15 minute drive from San Fran. Set in a beautiful setting on a harbor and pretty hill. Far enough away from the City to be relaxing. Traffic in and out of San Fran does get congested though. Hotel rooms were clean, spacious, and a/c was perfect. The food room service was good too. Hotel staff extremely nice and accomodating! Recommended!

| Room was fine, very clean with small fridge and microwave. TV sucked as you have to go through 20 channels to get to an actual station. I just wanted to watch the World Cup. No restaurants in area so only choce is hotel restaurant which is way understaffed. Staff in general are helpful if you ask for something but do not go out of their way - maybe because there is not enough help? Surrounding areea is nice for walking, running, biking. You need a car or else take shuttle to airport and then take BART.

| Easy to check in and out. The room is very spacious and the beds very comfy. Easy to find right off the 101. Big plus is that it is close to SF. Tried catching shuttle to Airport but it was late and front desk was not very helpful in that regard. Also, don't expect to get a great workout in gym, most things are broken in there. The cleaning crew is very nice, curteous and helpful. Price was great for hotel.

| First, I must stress. Sierra Pont exit on 101 is your exit. Miss this exit, and you will not find this hotel. Once found, the hotel is a clean building with a nice decor. With the exception of one very nice lady at the front desk, the others seem to have only the limited level of politeness required to get you moving along to your room. Still, overall, between the safe environment, clean rooms, decent food in the lounge, functional fitness area and Free WI-FI, For the price offered, I would certainly return.

| Wonderful, clean, comfortable and peaceful. There is no place nearby to eat but the hotel's restaurant is great. This is the way to go especially if you have a rental car. Its a ten minute drive to downtown SF but, unlike downtown hotels, you get free parking. I highly recommend this hotel over staying downtown.

| I selected this hotel b/c my friends were staying here to rest one night before beginning our 14 day cruise. The hotel was nice, rooms were clean, but it was far away from any restaurants or points of interest. The only place to eat (the hotel restaurant) was terribly understaffed, and cabs are expensive in San Francisco if you want to go anywhere outside the hotel area. The morning we were to depart for our cruise, there was very little food at the breakfast buffet, and there was quite a bit of chaos - guests eating and leaving without paying, guests going back into the kitchen area to get cups and saucers for tea, etc. I have already told the Cruise Line about my terrible experience (as I'm sure 100 other people did too). I really don't think the hotel itself was bad; I think the management got caught with it's pants down and had some serious staffing issues.

| Large comfortable rooms. Good facilities. Moderately-priced restaurant with excellent northern Italian cuisine. Convenient to SFO, downtown SF, and both sides of bay (reasonably close to San Mateo bridge). Not a resort hotel - you wouldn't have many places to walk with the kids, but a good "home base" if you are bouncing around the Bay Area on business.

| This hotel is set off on its own little part of the penisnsula just south of Monster Park. If you like solitude its great, and can be a quiet refuge from the city. But there are no stores, restaurants or Bars within walking distance and access is very limited. Room was spacious and comforable. After business in the City (8 minutes to downtown SF), it is a great place to walk by the bay just accross the road. Restarurant is only fair for overpriced limited entrees. I will go stay again.

| I like the hotel because it is clean, quite and safe. I have stayed here many times. The front desk staff could use a little coaching to brush up on friendly customer service. They were not rude, but they did not go out of their way to make me feel welcomed. Instead, they are very robotic and matter of fact in checking me in and out, but it's not enough to keep me away. I do like the cleanliness of the rooms, and I feel safe sleeping there.

| The hotel was very modern and clean. The room was comfortable and the bed was great. The service was extremely friendly and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The only bad thing about the hotel is it's location coming from San Francisco. It's close but you have to take a freeway exit that dumps you off onto a side road. Coming from the south it's right off of the freeway.

| On arrival front desk person was not friendly. Plus that day they had fire alarm drills that went off every 5 minutes from 9 am to 3:30 pm so that you could not stay at the hotel. No one could tell you how to get downtown or how to catch the BART train at the airport. Luckily we met some people from New York that happened to be staying at the hotel. They had figured out how the train ran and informed us. There is nowhere to shop or eat near this hotel and the shuttle driver speaks VERY little english. Your best bet is to stay somewhere near East Bay or downtown if you are going for travel. Rooms are great for 1 person otherwise bathroom is set up terrible.

| The hotel is about a 10 minute drive to downtown San Francisco (without too much traffic that is). Do not send for a taxi and instead you should rent the cars that they have available at the hotel. We received a car with insurance for under 45.00 for 24 hours (we made the mistake of taking taxi's the first day with prices ranging from a $30.00-$45.00 fare for just one way). The staff is very friendly in telling you where to go to and how to get to where you want to go and they even have a small computer room for you to go onto map quest if you need to do so as well. The fitness room is pretty small with a limited amount of machines, but the indoor pool is very nice. I didn't like the selection of food and the price of it (a little too pricey) at the restaurant in the hotel, but its better to eat downtown anyhow.
