Hotel was very clean. Two beds and a great view of the city. There are very few nice areas in Philly, and this is one of them. The lobby area has a nice bar, marble or granite floors, and a very attentive and professional front desk attendant. The room has a nice mini bar, flat screen t.v., desk, two side chairs, and a coffee table. The bath has blow dryer and all the amenities. Beds were very comfortable.

We were very pleased with the great location of the Omni. It was so easy to walk to all of the historic sites we wanted to see. Hotel staff were friendly and professional. We requested the toilet seat to be tightened and a light bulb replaced during our stay and both were attended to promptly. Our only complaint was that they needed to vaccuum the hallway and room more carefully and frequently (the same snippets were visible for a few days in the hallway near the elevator and room).

Spent two nights here. Hardly luxury - although it probably once was. They claim to have 24 hr in room dining - that is NOT room service, but counts the mini bar - They claim to provide a paper each day - I did not get one on the first morning. Called ahead on the first night to have my car ready - showed up 20 minutes later only to find out the ticket had not yet even been pulled. Location is just so so - I expected better for a "luxury" (as they tout themselves" hotel - more like a 2.5 star overall

We were very happy with ourselves for choosing the Omni for our Philly stay over the 4th of July. The room was clean and cool, and the staff was very friendly and helpful; in recommending restaurants, and advising us of the proper transportation for whatever we wanted to do, including getting back to the airport. They also gave us a map of the area and pointed out specific sights to see. The location was fabulous; we could run back to our room throughout the day to drop off packages, take a break or whatever. When we go back, we will stay at the Omni again.

Everything about our experience was wonderful. Courteous and genuinely friendly staff, pleasant large room. The location can't be beat -- just a block from Independence Hall, part of which can be viewed from the room. And the nearby restaurants had interesting menus and decor (good food too). Excellent. Have already recommend this hotel to others.

My wife, daughter, and I spend a night at the Omni and loved the hotel and the location. The decor of the room was also top notch. The views from the room were breathtaking. It was also wonderful to be able to step outside the front door and walk a block or two to the attractions we wished to visit. Parking costs were a little steep and finding space on the street to check in and check out was difficult. We would certainly recommend this hotel if you have little time in the area and wish to see history outside of your doorstep.

This was my first trip to Philadelphia with my family and we wanted to be close to the sights downtown. This hotel had the absolute best location imaginable! We were two blocks from everything and it made a big difference. The Hotel was mediocre at best but I understand why it is priced a bit high considering where it is located. Parking is insane in this area and valet parking at the hotel was $32 per day. There was noticeable mold in the shower and the room could definately use some remodeling and modernization but once again the LOCATION was incredible which made these other items easier to overlook. I found the staff very pleasant and helpful and the valet guy even suggested an alternative place to park where I could save some money. I let him park the car. Last but not least, free cookies and milk delivered to your room for any children traveling with you. Nice touch!

It was also a lovely hotel with large comfortable rooms and great views. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would stay here again in a minute!!

The Omni Hotel Independence Park couldn't be more centrally located. Walking distance to all the Independence Hall and surrounding attractions makes this the place to stay. The hotel staff is very helpful and helped a lot during our stay. The rooms are OK but for the premium price that you are paying, the hotel should invest in upgrading the furnishings.

The construction issues at this hotel were pretty significant. I was on vacation and did not appreciate the wakeup of a jackhammer at 9:00 a.m. It lasted until approximately 8 p.m. on 3 of the evenings we stayed. Also, water was turned off on one of the evenings. The maid service was poor. Trash cans were not emptied and the maid knocked at 9:00 a.m. (which I guess didn't matter since the jackhammer began at that time, as well). I would expect much better from Omni and from this class of hotel. There should be a temporary down rating of the hotel if the construction is going to impact the stay. Other guests were not very happy either.

I chose the Omni Hotel because of the location in the historical area, which is what I went to see in Philadelphia. Staying there, you never need to use your car. The hotel staff were very friendly and efficient. The room was clean (tiny bit of mold in the bathroom, but not very noticeable). Great view from my room on the 11th floor. Flat screen TV. I have no complaints about this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

The staff was excellent, and so was the price; location also excellent in our view. It's true the comments by some that the hotel needs some upgrades; it's small things that show signs of age, like less than perfect paint in bathroom ceiling. We booked a two double-bed room but the staff kindly upgraded us to a king-room that was available. Room had flat panel TV, but the image was distorted--a common feature in these new devices--and the TV wasn't right in front of the bed, which we found a bit annoying.

For the price, it was fantastic! The staff was really wonderful and the location can't be beat. The King room was spacious and had a flat screen TV. Parking is cheaper a couple blocks away, but the garage next to the hotel is fine. I wish we could have stayed longer. The only complaint I have was a bit of mold in the corner of the tub (I've showered in worse) and a couple light bulbs burned out. Also, the airconditioner was kind of loud in our room, but we managed to sleep through it. Also, the breakfast crew was kind enough to serve us before breakfast even started. We will go back.
