The hotel was convenient to everything. Service very good. Clean. Nice to have restaurant on site. Only negative was that the room was a little small for 3 adults.

The hotel is definitely clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They really need a shuttle service for their patrons though because it is near nothing. It costs approx. $20 each way to downtown(Approx$17 + tip) Not even close enough to go get snacks for the room. Only has ice and drink vending machines on premises. Also,do not book room on Gulf side because the main street in front of hotel is very noisy all night.

The hotel pool was awesome (heated) and the customer service was good. You can order food at the pool bar and they bring it to you while you are relaxing at the pool. It was too far from Duval although but area was fine. Hotel front desk was customer friendly.

The hotel is wonderful -- elegantly furnished rooms and good views. The pool has an outdoor bar next to it and food is served as well. There is a workout room in a glass gazebo, you can workout in air conditioned comfort but feel like you are outside! The service is excellent. I recommend it to both business and lesiure travelers.

Went to Key West in April. The weather was nice 85 or so. The Hotel is off the main drag but not that far. The hotel had us booked in a smoking room by mistake and when they corrected it, we could only get a room with double beds not the king I had reserved. Pool was nice and clean. Room was clean but smelled alittle musty. Rent a scooter because the shuttle doesnt pick you up at the hotel any more to go to Duval St. Next door is the Visitor Center and you can take a toor trolly around the Island. I recommend the tour, then rent the scooter and go exploring. We spent 4 days on the island and saw just about everything. Try to get to the Rusty Anchor for dinner. Great food fresh fish.

Even though it isn't within walking distance of Duvall Street, I would stay here again. Go ahead and rent a car - it's cheaper than cabbing and contrary to what everyone tells you, we didn't have much trouble finding parking. Plus, The Bone Island Shuttle isn't operating much since Wilma. The pool area was great ~ never crowded with tasty, reasonably priced margaritas! The hotel staff was superb - I had a slight emergency and they went out of their way to help me. My only issue was with the "concierge" we dealt with regarding tours, cruises, etc. Not sure if he was a Radisson employee or employed by the tour company, but he was pushy and rude. It was obvious he was working on comission. We listened to his shpiel (well rehearsed, at least) but decided we weren't ready to make any choices yet. The next day, apparantly because we had not been paying customers, he didn't even remember us when we re-approached him for information. Not very welcoming. It was clear our best interests were not the first thing on his mind.

The staff at the Key West radisson is the most friendly I've experienced. I felt I was staying with friends. The rooms are a little small, so are the beds, but the hotel in general is really confortable. The pool is really nice, and the pool-side bar makes it nicer :) Beware of the Concierge though, he'll try to sell you stuff you can get for cheaper if you look at the booklets in the porche.

We love Key West and the Radisson! This was our third year in a row for a vacation at the Radisson in Key West. The staff is great. The pool is perfect for relaxing with a drink from the pool bar. The lights on the palm trees around the pool are beautiful. Contrary to other reports in Expedia, we did not see any bugs in our room. We stayed on the 6th floor of the hotel and enjoyed views of the pool and the ocean. We can't wait to go back next year.

After reading the reviews on this hotel, I worried about what I would find, but the price was right so.... Needless to say, I never saw a single bug and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our flight arrived at 9:00 am, too early to check-in to the hotel. However, the front desk took our bags so we could go out and enjoy our day minus luggage. It is probably closer to a two star hotel, but none the less very nice! Great pool!

If you want a nice, affordable place to stay in Key West, try this Radisson. The hotel has two views; the Gulf and pool side. If you want quiet take the pool side since US1 runs between the Gulf and the hotel and is quite noisy. The rooms were clean, the staff helpful, and the pool great for kids. The hotel is on the East side of Key West, so you are not in the action, so to say, but that isn't all bad either since Key West was a bit touristy for my taste. You can take the trolley from the hotel to all the major points of interest. I would recommend this since it is cheaper than parking ($3 an hour) downtown Key West. There is a Denny's on site which makes finding a place to eat breakfast easy. It is also close to grocery stores and K-Mart for those shopping trips.

I had a room for five nights. I actually requested an oceanside room, but found that the traffic noise was extreme, both day and night. I thought that the room was nice. Certainly, the furniture was in good condition and the room appeared clean. Though, I did notice that there were cigarette burns in the blanket and a very large boot footprint as well. I did have a problem with the cockroaches that play on my bedside table and crawled across my bed and blacket. I'm an entomolgist by training, but that makes me no more likely to want to share my room and bed with insects. Florida, being Florida, one expects to see roaches, but my room was overrun with lots of very small roaches which suggests to me that the population was resident and not just passing through from out-of-doors. I did tell the front desk of the problem and did request that my room be sprayed or that the roaches but otherwise abated, but it was apparent that no steps were taken. The pool area of the hotel was nice and I enjoyed a nice afternoon around the pool. A very good pool for kids and families. The service at the splash bar was very good. There is no way that this hotel deserves three and half stars.
