| My kids (college age) and I stayed at the Hilton Ponce for 4 days between Xmas & New Year, and I couldnt have been happier. Aside from being completely uncrowded (unexpectedly so at that time of year), the hotel had great food (if a little bit pricy), outstanding staff & service and and fabulous pool and beach (also uncrowded). The casino was the one place that was crowded, and looked a little bit worn, but was fun nontheless (it was nice to see it filled with mostly locals, rather than only tourists). The one slight disappointment was that the 'disco/club' was really neither mid-week, so there wasnt much to do at night besides eat and gamble. All in all, tho, I would heartily recommend the Hilton Ponce.
