I stayed at the Millenium Hotel 07/28 and 07/29/2006 and the stay was very comfortable. The rooms are small but the location is perfect, not to mention that the bed was sooo comfortable. I was in the south building which is the older building, but I was not dissapointed. We had to call and ask for towels on the first night because there were only 2 in the room, but they came right away. I will stay there in the future.

Overall, the hotel was satisfactory. The staff was curtious, room was clean, bed was comfortable. However, conversations at a normal tone of voice could easily be heard in the next room, that I didn't care for at all. The price of the room was rather steep, especially when you factor in a parking fee, per car, per day

We stayed downtown because we had tickets to the Reds games, and it was very convenient. There is a nice mall across the street, and everything we needed was within walking distance. We used the airport shuttle which was $25 round trip (per person). This beat the cab fare, and they were there when I needed them to be. Overall, a great trip, with a nice hotel, pool area and fitness room. Location was very convenient, and downtown was easy to navigate for walking.

Well worth the Expedia price. The room was clean and well maintained. The bathtub drain was a little slow draining but it's just a poorly designed drain - not a hotel maintenance issue. The free horderves and continental breakfast included with Club was a joke - not worth the upgrade. Club level does have free internet via Ethernet cable - no wireless.

The only thing good I can say about this hotel is that the location of this hotel is great. It is close to a shopping mall, various unique small stores, restaurants and the Cincinnati Reds baseball park; everything was in walking distance. However, I was not impressed with the stay at this hotel. The room was small and the bathroom was unbelievable dirty. I did not discover the filthiness until the next morning; I felt the need to wash the bathtub before taking a shower. (It was faster than waiting on housekeeping.) After that incident, I kept finding more and more problem about the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. If you choose to stay at this hotel, check the cleanliness of your room before settling in. It will make your stay more enjoyable.

There were 1000s of adolescents there for a video gaming conference and you had to wait 15 minutes everytime you wanted an elevator because they were "playing" on the elevators. They kept the hallways noisy at night and were inappropriate to other guests. I had to walk down 12 flights of stairs twice - once because some kid pulled the fire alarm and once because the elevator took so long I thought I would miss my shuttle to the wedding. I would NEVER stay here again and I wish I could get my money back as it wasn't a cheap place to stay.

it took 45 minutes to check in and i asked for a quiet room to prepare for a business meeting, i was told the hotel had a good security force and if i was bothered to phone them but there were no other rooms available. the average time for an elevator was 5 to 10 minutes. i found most of the crew at the hotel to be unfriendly, unhelpful expert at avoiding customers. The straw that broke the camels back is when i tried to make coffee in the room the glass coffee caraffe was missing. but there was plenty of coffee beans to brew.

I was skeptical of the hotel since it was my first time to purchase through a travel website, and because we got the room for so much cheaper than just booking from the hotel itself. I have to say I was very impressed with the quality of the hotel and the location. It was very close to Newport and the aquarium and the Great American Ballpark!! I will definitely use Expedia.com again to book my next trip because this first experience went so well.....

We stayed here for two nights. The line to check-in/check-out was ALWAYS long. Everytime we walked by the front desk there was a line of people checking in or checking out. The second day, after returning from walking around Cincinnati and Newport Kentucky, we returned overheated and tired, only to get to our room on the 22 floor to find out that our keys no longer worked. We called down to the front desk and they sent someone up to open the door, but not to bring us new keys. So we had to cut in front of the long line at the front desk later to get new keys. The continental breakfast that came with our club package was lame to say the least, some fruit, coffee, donuts, and cereal with no bowls to eat from. Our room was ok...there was a huge waterspot on the ceiling, but otherwise it was comfortable. We did not get the turn-down service that was came with our package, nor the robes that were advertised. Overall, the price was decent and we pretty much got what we paid for.

The hotel offered us what we were looking for; a relatively inexpensive place to stay close to the ballpark. Check in was fine, check out a little lackluster, and the valet was not good checking in our out (misplaced our keys which caused us to wait about an hour to leave). Some of the furniture is a little tired and our bathroom tub took 45 minutes to drain the water from my 3 minute shower. It's fine, but not a place for a romantic getaway with your wife.

I have stayed at the Millenium numerous times. I like the location, the staff is always very friendly and accomodating. The rooms are clean and comfortable. For my travel purpose, which is leisure, this hotel provides all that I need. I also think for its downtown location, the rates are very reasonable. I don't consider staying elsewhere; there is shopping, dining and entertainment withing walking distance. I have no qualms about recommending the Millenium.

The pillows were laughably small and there were no extras. The beds were too soft and my wife and I both woke up a little stiff. We also found a prescription pill on the floor. I wasn't happy about that since my 4- and 7-year-old daughters were in the room, too.

We stayed at the Millennium Hotel Cincinnati on May 6, 2006. We were there for the Flying Pig Half Marathon. This was the 3rd time we had stayed at this hotel. The first stay was pleasant. The second stay resulted in a broken toilet and an overcharge for an in-room movie. This time, we left very unhappy. When we checked-in, we had to stand in a 45 minute line. There were only 3 clerks and the hotel did not open their other reception desk. We discovered that the rooms in the North Tower are not as well maintained or large as the rooms in the South Tower. Our toilet was broken and to save time/trouble with hotel maintenance, I became a plummer and fixed it. The bathroom was small and in need of maintenance. Finally, when it was time for us to leave, the in-room check-out on the TV did not work. We waited 30 minutes for an elevator, but with only 3 elevators in the North Tower, all the elevators were full. Finally, we decended 9 flights of stairs with our luggage. The line to check-out was another 30 minutes, so we just tossed our room keys on the front desk and left. This was our very last time staying at this hotel.

Stayed last year when this property was a different chain; and it was great! This year, not so impressed. Had three rooms reserved for non smoking, all of us were put in smoking, and it was like pulling teeth to get non smoking. (Plus we were there for the marathon...would'nt you have enough non smoking rooms for runners?!) rooms not clean, and hotel would not offer any type of late check out (even until 1:00pm). Won't be back!

The Millenium is showing its age. Our toilet bowl had several cracks on the inside and lots of the metal work wasn't shiny. Vending machines were only soda and ice. The beds are VERY firm and the pillows next to useless, luckily we brought our own. Their restaurant has a small menu and very pricey. Be warned they take a security deposit when checking in - if you use a debit card you won't get a refund for about a week after you check out (credit cards they only put a hold on your card for the same amount, but never actually charge it).

My wife & I came to Cincinnati to see "Phantom of the Opera" at the Aronoff Center. The Millenium is a nice hotel very close to the Aronoff Center. The only problem we had was with the heater which was a floor unit that had a very annoying high pitch when it was on. I would suggest that the Hotel improve their heating system.

When we arrived at the hotel to check in we found out that there were not any King size rooms available but only rooms with 2 double beds. To compensate us for the room situation they gave us 2 free brunch vouchers. What they didnt tell you was that the vouchers were only for the cold breakfast food and if you wanted anything hot it was an extra $5.00 a person which isnt much money but the food was terrible. I would highly recommend going out to eat if you are going to be having breakfast in the city. Other than that, the room was very nice and for the price I guess you get what you pay for. It was the cheapest rate for a nice hotel for that weekend. I would probably stay in another hotel when I go down to Cincy next.

Reasonable priced room, clean and spacious. Staff was friendly and helpful. It is recommended to use valet parking when in Cincinnati, and after finding out what parking lots charge, it was not that much more expensive. However, I did receive damage to my car door while parked in hotel valet. I reported it and they are supposed to contact their insurance company to do the repair. Still waiting to resolve this issue.
