Older hotel right in front of Waikiki beach and the Duke Kahanamoku statue. The rooms are small and simply done but comfortable & clean. Think early 60's. This is not a fancy resort and doesn't try to be. Get a higher floor beachside room as there is a small dwelling in front of the hotel that blocks the lower floors from seeing the beach. The staff was very friendly.

this hotel has more on the minus side. rooms facing diamond head sit over LOUD air conditioner unit that is on 24 hours a day,it is ok if you are lucky enough to get a premium room. i've had larger state rooms on ocean liners.otherwise the hotel is near everything in waikiki...

We arrived late to check in and all the city view rooms were booked so we ended up with an ocean view. No complaints about that. All employees were very courteous. It's not large or 5 star, but perfect for that simple vacation when you are looking just to get away. Location is in a perfect spot in Waikiki for renting boards, lunch, dinner, night life, etc.

We feel for 0verall location and view of ocean and street below you could not find a better located room. With the wrought iron rails on the balcony it gives a good view while sitting in your chairs.. The rooms were small but very clean and confortable. I will reccommend this wonderful little hotel to anyone who will listen.

The Waikiki Circle is located right across the street from the beach. Every room has a balcony, and most rooms have nice ocean views, especially at sunset. It can get a bit noisy at night, which I guess could be good or bad, depending on your point of view. The hotel itself is only okay - small, no-frills rooms. But it was inexpensive, and I didn't spend much time in the rooms anyway. There is no pool, but you have the ocean right there. The staff was nice.

If the expectations are reasonable, this hotel is a good option based on location to Waikiki Beach area. If you do not require much help, the service is perfect. Anything out of ordinary is a challenge. Double or triple check type of room booked; have written verification or you'll be disappointed; nothing can be resolved without considerable time and effort. Center ocean front room is best choice for view or check out less expensive options at another hotel. Closely review hotel bill for accuracy, it will save $.

Hotel might be old, and the room small, but position, position, position and outlook are fantastic from ocean view rooms. This was first experience using Expedia to select a hotel, and the reviews and special offer (room upgrade for 'seniors')completed the choice. We spent 17 thoroughly enjoyable nights, and could not fault service.

While this hotel does not boast the usual accommodations of a hotel (ie, pool, room svc, etc) it has a great location. It is within a few steps of the beach (across the street) and in the center of large hotels and shopping. The only setback is lack of convenient parking.

If you are looking to go to Hawaii, stay in a decent hotel, and have a great location (across from Queen's Beach, walking distance to park, Zoo and the Aquarium) you cannot go wrong with this hotel. It's biggest amenity is its location, right across the street from the Beach, with no Beach front Hotel to block views! My partial ocean view really had full views of both the Ocean and the City. It's not going to blow you away with nice rooms, but you are in Hawaii what are you doing inside of your room? However, if location, convenience and friendliness of staff at a very reasonable price is what you are looking for this spot is perfect.

I would definately recommend this hotel to my friends. This is a small hotel with a perfect location - just cross the street to get to the beach and a brief walk to the International Marketplace. The rooms were small....but how much time do you actually spend in your room when travelling to Hawaii! My only disappointment was there was very limited parking availabe at our hotel, but then maybe that was an asset as it was nearly impossible to get out of the parking lot anyway due to multitudes of people crossing the sidewalk and the construction on the road in front of the hotel. We had to park at a neighboring hotel two blocks away. If you rent a car in Hawaii, many places charge for parking so check on this extra fee. This hotel charges an additional $9 per day. Yes, there was no lobby but why do you need a lobby anyway? The registration desk area had a roof. They provided beach towels as part of their services. There was also no pool, but once again who needs a pool when you have the beautiful clear ocean right across the street! There was an additional $2-$3 charge for the use of the safe. So wherever you stay, check out additional fees.

Didn't get a good first impression. No lobby to speak of, just an open area and check-in desk is behind glass. Pulling up to register was a HASSLE, since to get to their "driveway" you must cross over a sidewalk and then use a single lane up a steep ramp. No place to pull around, you must back up on this single lane and cross back over the busy sidewalk onto a busy one-way street. Toilet continually ran and the hallways are tile (since close to beach), but the hallway was noisy. Liked the beach and fish theme ... figured that was why toilet was running, to give us the sound of an aquarium.

The hotel is at an ideal location with convenient yet limited underground parking...close to everything so you can walk. The staff is friendly and helpful. The one complaint is the condition of the room. The paint was peeling in the bedroom as well as bathroom. Some maintenance is greatly needed.

This hotel is in a great spot and is really showing its age. There are serious salt air deterioration in the bathroom around the door (1402) and the rooms are extremely small, but not much can be done about that. The price was right and that was the reasoning for chosing this property and the view from our room was exceptional! The activity desk was great, but not always open during the hours shown that it was open!
