I stayed at this hotel for one night while we were in town for some Christmas Shopping. The Subway is a couple blocks away, and the hotel is very close to Eaton Center. We had a great time, and our room was very nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay in a good location.

The location was very good, only two blocks from Queen St! It`s not expensive at all and It`s clean. Only two negative notes: the heater was not on when I got in the room and it was freezing, fortunately the room warmed up quite quickly; the elevator is very slow.

This was a fairly reasonably priced hotel, pretty good downtown location, with on-site garage parking. Entry area was under construction so a bit of a mess; the rooms and hallways were a bit worn-down and dirty - seen better days. One real issue I had was I couldn't get the in-room internet access to work correctly which caused me to spend more time at Starbuck's for access. Overall OK and served the purpose for traveller on a budget but if you want nicer environs, look elsewhere.

Having no idea where to stay in Toronto, I just started by looking at reasonable rates and then reading the reviews. I decided on this hotel and was extremely happy I did. The hotel is very nice, clean, great pool and jacuzzi, nice restaurant, and the location is within walking distance of almost everything. I was very impressed and would definitely stay here again!

I loved the hotel, loved the location, the room was big and comfortable. The staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. They gave the minimal amount of information. When asking for resturants in the area people were referred to teh phone book. One young girl was very helpful and gave us menus. I quess you need to keep asking different staff until you get the answer you want.

This hotel is very well located on Toronto's Downtown, you only need to walk to the corner and there you have a bus stop, two blocks away and you are in the subway!! If you as me are traveling for first time to Toronto is a very good point to begin to explore this nice city. The room was nice, comfortable and very clean but the bathroom was a little bit small. My only complain is that the corridor smell like a smoking floor (7th floor)

For a hotel in downtown Toronto it was a great deal. Facilities are older, but in pretty good shape. Service was great, rooms were large. Getting luggage into hotel using the luggage cart is a bit tricky, but they make it work. For us it is a great location and serves are purpose very well.

Newly remodled rooms help, however the hotle is old and shows in certain areas. I was not pleased that there wasn't a reteraunt or bar in the hotel.

Room was very large - 2 queen beds, pull out couch and coffee table, large desk area, large closet to dress in... it was just great. Parking cost $15.00/day but you have in/out priveledges and we could leave the car there even after we checked out. Restaurant in hotel was great for breakfast - food very good and resonable - kids ate free. Would go back in the future!!!

The room was unsightly and in disrepair. There were stains on the couch and ceiling. The bathtub was cracked. The toilet was the type you would find at a rest stop on the interstate highway. You had to step on the lever to flush the toilet. Worst of all, my non-smoking room smelled like smoke. The entire hallway smelled like smoke. When I requested another room, I was told that I was in a non-smoking room and all other rooms smelled exactly the same.I only recommend staying at the Ramada if you're looking for a cheap place to sleep and you want in and out parking privileges.

I had requested a non-smoking room, received a smoking room.Non-smoking was not available. Average hotel room for a reasonable price. The Heat/AC unit seemed to have a mind of it's own, cold to hot then cold again. Windows did not open.Nothing very memorable, positive or negative. Of note though, I asked the evening desk clerk if there was a movie theatre nearby, after pouring over a newspaperwith her for 15 mins, was directed to one 2-3 miles away, and an expensive cab ride, only to find one on my on the next day less than 2 blocks away with 12 screens!

The Ramada Hotel and Suites Downtown is conveniently located to Toronto's major attractions. After spending all day from exploring Toronto's CN Tower, St. Lawrence Market and the Harbourfront, you can fully expect to rest in a clean and comfortable room that Ramada provides to its guests. I was surprised by the upkept appearance and friendliness of the staff. This hotel is a wonderful alternative to overpriced hotels.
