The hotel was nice, it looked like renovations were recently done. The room we were assigned to was fairly large compared to what we have heard about the other small hotel rooms in the area. The only thing that was not working was the A/C, but it didn't bother us because it was cold during the week we visited NY. The hotel is a little far from time square if you decide to walk, about 10 or so blocks away.

Service at breakfast was a little slow. Best to stick to the buffet breakfast. Rooftop Restaurant was expensive but very good and child friendly. Hotel was convenient to all; cabs were always available. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

This was a very good stay. Beds, pillows, and linens were very comfortable. The pool, spa, and exercise room were great additions. The only down side was that you had to pay for internet access in your room. Come on guys, get with the times...all the nice hotels offer high speed internet for free. Even the low budget hotel we stayed at on the road had free wireless. I wouldn't have expected this from a Marriot.

Room was extremely small and air conditioning was barely adequate. Bathroom had no window or fan and got steamy immediately when showering. Bed was extrememly confortable. Room was always clean and well maintained

Only a couple blocks to the metro. Very helpful staff. Also liked that the pool was staffed. Only thing I did not like was that they do not have a hotel shuttle and we ended up paying $50 for a cab to get to the hotel from the airport as our flight came in after the Metro stopped running.

It is just a stroll across the Bride to shops and restraunts in Georgetown. It is about $8 cab to downtown DC. The Bartender from Turkey is a great guy, They have unusal video game that test your powers of observation ,not a shot them up game.

this was a great hotel to stay at, although i was a little dissapointed in the view from our room, we had a view of the holiday inn, not the river or anything in the picture, but the trip was to see d.c. not the view from the room. the roon was very comfortable and clean, lots of puffy pillows on the bed. when we go back to d.c. this is the place we are staying.

This hotel has a distinct 70's feel when you walk in with the lobby, bar and downstairs restaurant all a little dated looking. However, the rooms are in excellent condition and I had better service in both the bar and the restaurant than the usual at a Marriott. Both waiters and bar staff were excellent.Although not in downtown DC - it is only 15 minutes to the center of town even in the morning rush hour. Great value compared with Downtown prices
