...like all inclusives. Nice comfortable rooms, nice pool, beaches are okay. My main complaint is that there are no signs or directions on how to get to this hotel, which was extremely frustrating..also none of the locals knew. Also, the concierge were extremely friendly, but not too helpful or efficient. Outside of this resort, there isn't anything else to do, so it can get alittle boring after awhile with just sunning, eating, & drinking, unless if that is what one enjoys. There are day trips to the volcano and Monteverde forest, but not suggested, bc it would take hours to get to. The roads are horendous in CR. We visited those places separately. Overall, this hotel was nice, but I was ready to go home after 2 nights since not much outside of the resort.

The Hotel is a very friendly and comfortable property. The food is good but not over the top. I can't say I saw a great deal of high energy organized activities but if you are looking for a laid back vacation in an attractive setting I certainly recommend it.

We were on our honeymoon and this hotel is great place to get away and relax. The resort is secluded and away from the city (Liberia). It is orientated toward adults. Because it is secluded, night-life is more low-key. Everynight, musicians played soft music in the lobby. There is a small disco next to the lobby that has a pool table and DJ. We popped into the disco for while one night and watched some of the other guests salsa. The food was plentiful and very good. There are two restaurants on the premisis: The Italian and the Oriental. Both were excellent, but make your reservation early - the reservations fill up fast! Even the buffet food was good. We thought the staff did a good job of introducing some new things to the buffet everyday. The staff was very professional and eager to please. Most know at least some English so communication was not a problem. We enjoyed the 'fun club' manager. He organized most of the activities at the pool. Everyday he also conducted a nature walk outside the resort grounds in the morning and a sunset walk in the evening. The beach was probably the worst part of the hotel. It's a small, mostly shaded beach. Snorkelling was a bit of a challenge, but adequate to entertain us for while. The most unexpected thing at this resort we noticed was that there were about three cats roaming around the grounds. They didn't seem to bother any of the guests and weren't a problem, but we were surprised none-the-less.

The service was amazing. All of the staff treated you like royalty. They always smiled when seeing you and constantly made sure you had everything you needed. The food was decent, but not luxurious. The grounds are amazingly beautiful

Upon arrival thru room placement we were treated with great service. There was a slight problem with our first room but this was corrected emmediately by the staff. The grounds/buildings are beautiful and well kept up. The staff were courteous and catered to our every need. The only thing lacking that we have experienced with other all-inclusives was the entertainment. There was not too much night entertainment to speak of.

It was a very nice hotel, especially for couples or families that are looking for a smaller, more private place to stay. Very clean, with grat food and excellent service. They need to improve their front desk since it gets a little overloaded at times.
