Pueblo Bonito Rose was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! The first thing you need to know is that its beachfront view is the famous rock formations! The next thing to know is that there are THREE other hotel resorts in Cabo San Lucas that bear the same brand name - and get this.. there is FREE shuttle service to get to them! It's like staying at 4 different resorts for the price of one! Everyday from 3-5pm is happy hour where all Pueblo Bonito guests get 2 for one drink specials. The drinks were plentiful and definitely worth the price! The level of the hotel service, the attention to detail, and the quality of the hotel stay were definitely assets to the trip. The meal prices are very reasonable and the quality and presentation of the food is impeccable. There is a high level of security at the resort - you can only get in through the gate if you are a Pueblo Bonito guest. The next great thing about this location is that it is literally a 10 min walk to Downtown Cabo San Lucas where all the action is! We never had to take a taxi to get to the nightlife, restaurants, marina, and mall/shoppping area. Other resorts were further down the road and other people ended up paying $10 each way to get to downtown every night. I highly recommend going to Cabo (and staying at Pueblo Bonito Rose!) soon because this place is still up and coming and many buildings were still in construction. Go while this place is still a diamond in the rough!

This was our second visit in 6 months, and we will go back. This is a family friendly resort within walking distance to town. The grounds are beautifically kept. The rooms are simple but comfortable. The bellstaff was exceptionally friendly as were the waiters at the pool. We find it to be a great value for the price paid.

The Pueblo Bonito Rose is near enough to town we were able to walk. The staff was friendly and attentive. Service around the gorgeous pool was outstanding. The food was good except for "Taco Night" at the Mar Nostrum, which was over priced and unexceptional. There is a nice deli on the property for an alterate to in house restaurants. Most, if not all of the rooms have a kitchenette, which make in room food prep possible (there is a market walking distance). This attracts families, so beware if that is not your cup of tea. There are no carpets on the floors, so noisy neighbors can be bothersome. I did not find the beds comfortable, but all others in my party had no problem with them. My back was already bothering me, so I can't blame them. Overall, we had satisfying stay and would return.

I am glad we read the other reviews prior to booking this resort. It certainly lived up to our expectations and we plan to stay here again. They will shuttle you to Pueblo Bonita Sunset for no charge and Pueblo Bonita Los Cabos is next door. The good news, you can visit all these properties and make room charges to the one where you are registered. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Dont forget the 2 for 1 happy hour!! For restaurants, Ediths is one of the best places in town (also a little pricey). There are many restaurants in the marina. We liked Dorian's (good seafood) the best. Margaritavilla has great margaritas (strong). We also like Alexanders. I went diving most days, but in May, the water is still a little cold (67 to 75 degrees).

Nice hotel. Everyone, especially the bell staff, was terrific. The only exception was the front desk staff, who were cold and not helpful. They don't have a site map, list of amenities and a welcome package. The location is great, with easy access to the ocean and downtown. The room was outstanding. We'd stay there again.

The pool area is awesome. Service is outstanding. Beautiful view of the ocean. Everything super clean and maintained. Right on the beach and about 15 min walk to downtown Cabo. I would definately stay there again. Only downsides are that they try hard to push a timeshare at their sister resort. On property food and drinks are expensive ($5 bottle of water, $15 pizza for 2 etc.)

A great place to really relax. The main pool is fabulous, although it can get a bit crowded in the middle-late afternoon. We enjoyed breakfast at the restaurant, but did not eat other meals there. Local restaurants were very good. Used fitness area once and it has pretty much any equipment you want. Visited the spa for waterfall jacuzzi and steam room. Very nice and not crowded. Hotel location was perfect (not too near town, but easy walking distance).

My fam and I traveled to Cabo over Spring Break- kids are ages 5 and 9. Here is the breakdown Pros and Cons: Pros first: Being on Medano beach a plus because it is swimmable. Good sized pool. I tipped the front desk at check in and got a great room with view of beach. Very friendly staff. Nice sized rooms. Bed comfort OK. Had fridge and mini kitchen. Walkable to beach restaurants. Highly recommend the free shuttle to Sunset Beach property... excellent pools there for kids. Now the cons: At one point, I counted more beach vendors than actual sunbathers. Said the phrase "No thanks" more than 100 times. Pool area a bit noisy at night. Very pricy restaurants- but I expected that... trouble was town is a long walk with kids- and the cab was always $6. Cabo beautiful though, and nice hotel, but would next time choose an all inclusive with kid activities and food included... I'd rather relax and not be hounded by people selling things- and go into town when we felt like it.

The Hotel is a 7 block walk from downtown Cabo or about a $7 taxi ride. You can practically step out of the pool onto the beach, then onto a boat to go parasailing! The Concierge was terrific in booking activities like ATV excursions, horseback riding, parasailing. Bring cash to these activities, as most don't accept credit card (or charge an additonal fee). The Hotel's buffets are a bit pricey for the quality of food that you get. Our room had a small kitchenette (refrigerator, microwave, stove, pots, silverware, plates), which was great for breakfast and snacks.

The hotel was very nice and we really had no major complaints. One of the best things about it was the location--a short walk to many restuarants, shops, the marina, etc... Also, the beach was one of the few beaches you could swim on. The Sunset was also a very nice resort--I would recommend taking the shuttle there for a sunset walk on the beach or to spend a day at their pool.

This was our first trip to Mexico and we were very impressed! The service at this hotel was exceptional as was the cleanliness. The food was wonderful from breakfast to dinner and brought right out to us at the beach. The room was also clean, only had firm pillows, but when we asked for more they were brought up very quickly. If needed, you can also get a pillow top for the mattress. Best place we've been!

Almost everything about this hotel was perfect. The hotel staff was friendly, helpful, and spoke good English. One day on the beach we had a bad server, so the bar manager made the rounds to help serve and make sure everyone was satisfied. The rooms and facilities were in good condition; especially the spa where my wife received the best massage in her life. We also loved the hotel's proximity to the town and restaurants. It's easily within walking distance of the main drag with the local shops, tourist trinket stores, and fun little local restaurants. You are also close to the marina, which has a more American feel to it with a shopping mall, restaurants, and trendy bars. For folks who don't like to walk far, 3-4 fantastic restaurants are a short walk down the beach. The only down sides were the 20-minute sales pitch from their staff to attend a time share presentation breakfast and the solicitors on the beach. Overall, this did not overshadow a truly wonderful stay.

I didn't know anything about the Pueblo Bonito Hotels before this trip. I was very pleasantly surprised. I loved the location, on the beach and a couple of blocks from town. The attitude of the hotel staff was excellent. Everyone was very gracious and on the ball. The rooms had very nice kitchens with top quality appliances, made having breakfast in the room a pleasure. Minor complaint is that the rooms had two double beds as the only option. It would have been nice to have a king. The other great thing was the ability to use the sister Hotel Pueblo Bonito Sunset. Gorgeous place with spectacular views of the Pacific and stunning architecture.

I just vacationed for the first time in Cabo San Lucas and was extremely pleased with Pueblo Bonito Rose. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were spacious and clean. The location was perfect for downtown outings....just a few blocks walk or a $6 cab ride. A word of warning, the buffets that are offered each night at the hotel are expensive...be sure you will really eat your money's worth!! The Pueblo Bonito Rose is a great hotel in a wonderful city. We own a timeshare at the Rose and I purchased some extra nights this year in order to extend my stay. Each and every member of the hotel staff is genuinely friendly and helpful. They will go out of their way to make sure that you are satisfied and that your stay is a pleasant one. Most of them speak at least passable English. Daytime activities at the Rose center around the enourmous pool at the center of the property. Be sure to get there early to secure a cabana or an umbrella. Throughout the day there are volleyball games, water aerobics, and other activities to keep you busy. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, and the water is 100% safe to drink since there's a desalinization plant on the premises. In 7 trips to Cabos we have never ever gotten sick.

The entire staff was ready and willing to provide excellent service and was very responsive to every request or need. The hotel is kept in immaculate condition. The food was very good and comparable in price to most other dining experiences we had. I would recommend this hotel for a centrally located resort that offers many amenities on site as well as assistance with other activities. It is easily within walking distance of town and the marina, with lots of dining, shopping and sporting opportunities. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it others.
