| The hotel and resort was great, unfortunately most of the activities are weather related, and we did not get to take part in most of them.

| This hotel is fairly new, but already is showing some wear and tear like stained and dirty carpets. Overall, the hotel and surrounding area is great and very easy for a family with bike and kayak rentals, a huge playground, plenty of restaurants, and lots of boardwalk. However, there is no place to buy conveniences like bottled water, magazines, sunscreen, toiletries, etc.

| my husband and I got engaged while staying at San Destin and return every year. there are many things to do insuide and outside the resort. you dont have to drive at all if you don't want to. The rooms are always nice; very clean and comfortable. I would definately choose to stay here over a regular hotel room
