| The staff are very nice specially the front desk people. I's good coz it's near the park itself. I just wish they put refregirator and microwave in the room. But overall it's very nice.

| If you're looking for a good place to stay that is close to Busch Gardens Tampa, this is the hotel. It is an easy drive to the park, so we were able to stop during the hot part of the day and take naps, then go back and play again. The hotel is currently ungoing some remodeling, but when they're done, I'm sure it will be nice. The pool had a lot of leaf and grass debris in it, but didn't spend much time in it anyway. Overall, it's all about the location with this hotel.

| We picked this hotel about 6 months before the vacation. We were not aware that it had changed ownership to La Quinta. Finding it wasn't simple and we went to two diffrent La Quinta's before we found this one. Front Desk staff was helpful and friendly. The room was standard, but not very inviting. The shower wasn't very clean-looking, and the carpet wasn't vacuumed. Nice and close to Bush Gardens. Within walking distance, but not with small children. PLENTY of places to eat close by, but I wouldn't walk around after dark in that neighborhood. The continental breakfast was VERY good. Overall we got what we payed for. A place to sleep, friendly staff and good breakfast.

| The La Quinta across from Busch Gardens was nice, except for the fact that they had to change my room twice. The first one smelled funny and the telephone was broken, and the other smelled funny and was not made up. They then gave me the suite, which was sweet. Great Breakfast.

| No hot water in 3 out of 8 days. I had to move room due to renovations (that were not published on the hotel site). The new room I've got was FLEA ridden! Broken tap at the bath had to be fixed in the middle of night. Stuff tried to help (they were nice) but being sorry does not help to solve problems like those.

| We had no hot water for showers for 2 1/2 days. Bed was not made one of the days but maid did leave clean towels so I know she was there. Beds were not very comfortable but that's a personal preference.

| Stayed one night only, but it was the second time that we stayed at the hotel. Last time was about 2 years ago and the conditions have improved since then. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and bright and beds comfertable. Only draw back that we had was the tube/shower. The drain would not close for tube use. Other then that we were satisfied. The included continintal breakfest was good, but ended at 9am during the week.

| Hotel is across street from Busch Gardens, but entrance is 1.5 miles away. Don't expect to save on parking if staying here - still need to drive to Gardens. Kinda run down, but excellent continental breakfast. Had a wide variety of food and was well stocked. Right off main street - little noisy at night.

| Even though I would not recommend this hotel. It wasn't so bad that you could not stay at. It was a fairly inexpensive hotel very close to Busch Gardens. From the outside, probably the nicer of the group of hotels within a mile of Busch Gardens. The negatives were: Walls were very thin and conversations could be heard inside your room from next door. Door was impossible for my 6 year old to open because it would not function properly. Extremely heavy and annoying to open and close. Continental breakfast closed at exactly 9am and doors locked. Went to front desk at 5 minutes after 9 and was pointed in direction of continential breakfast to find doors locked and food put away. Partly my fault for not knowing, but the front desk did not seem to know either. They left no room for error. Will probably stay a couple more miles away next time and be less thrifty.

| Wouldn't go back. Noise level high. Non-smoking room with 30 burn marks on bathtub. No hot water. Asked about directions to walk to Busch Gardens. Was told "Easy walk". Forgot to mention massive construction and walk was well over a mile to only entrance. No doubt they spent all renovation money on the entrance and pool area. They sure didn't spend it on the rooms.
