Recently traveled to Charleston for a wedding. We spent five days enjoying what Charleston had to offer. Unfortunately, the hotel lacks a certain feeling of comfort. One that you would tend to expect from a Hilton hotel. Rooms are small. Bathrooms are difficult to enter and exit. You pretty much have to close the door entirely to use the toilet. The double beds we were stuck with were a joke. I do not understand why hotels have double beds instead of queens or the king that we requested. Service...what service? Housekeeping was pleasant and entered our room twice a day to make the beds. The floors were dirty though despite their best effort. The very best feature was the location and view from the hotel. Try to find other accomodations.

Beautiful Hotel with good service and nice ammeneties. Hotel location is tremendous and the views of Charleston are amazing. One difficult part to get over is the lack of ammeneties for business travelers. This hotel is in the dark ages when it comes to servicing business clientel. They are in dire need of high speed internet access in the rooms. Their only high speed connection is in the lobby. They have a nice bar, but it has very little character and the dining area in the Hotel is pathetic, but dining options near the hotel are amazing.

Very disappointed in hotel. Service at both restaurant and bar were abominable. Charged for buffet breakfast which consisted of fruit and stale bread. Room was cramped and not very clean.

The staff was very plesant and great in providing directions to points of interest. Our room did have a view of the harbor but overlooked the trash compactor...that was not a real problem but unexpected in a quality hotel.

Hotel has a great location. Seemed to be a very popular hotel because of the tiki bar. It was extremely difficult to get anyone to answer the front desk phone day or night.

I stayed at The Hilton Charleston Harbor for the first and last time. Even though the hotel was well kept and clean, the customer service was terrible. I travel to Charleston quite frequently on business and pleasure. I typically stay in the historic district. This trip I had business in Mt Pleasant so I decided to stay at the Hilton...big mistake...from now on I will spend my money where it is appreciated.

the room was poorly set up. I realize that some rooms have to overlook the dumpster, but the hotel could do something to make it look better. The cleaning staff did not clean the room every day and on two occasions did not replenish towels or coffee.
