| Room was clean but small, no night stand on one side of the bed. My wife is handicapped and uses an electric scooter to get around we had no problem getting the scooter in the room, but had difficulty accessing the hotel in general there are only 2 ramps allowing access to the sidewalk to get into the hotel. The office and one on the side. In general we had a good time.

| If you are going to do the Mall of America in Minneapolis, this is the place to stay. For the price we paid we were extremely satisfied. The room was very clean and the housekeeping was on top of it every morning. They have a great indoor pool and hot tub with extended hours for the weekend. Also the hotel was a 5 minute walk to the Mall of America. We walked to and from multiple times somedays. They also have a shuttle to the Mall every hour if you don't want to walk the short walk. They also have an airport shuttle which is very convenient if you don't want to rent a car. Plenty of restaurants are in walking distance as well. I would definitly stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonable place to stay close to lots of shopping.

| not impressed w/overall cleanliness when we arrived but housekeeping did well during our stay (husband says cleanliness was fine). Biggest complaint is that my husband accidentally left an item in the room after we left. I have called twice, once I had to leave a message (they did not call me back) and once I talked to housekeeping and they said they would call back again. HAVE HEARD NOTHING-its been one wk since we checked out.

| I think the hotel needs some updating - age is showing. The hot tub in the pool area was not working correctly. The restaurant attached to the hotel was closed. No breakfast was served. Our room had an outside patio. When we asked for chairs to be able to sit outside, we were told some would be coming but we never got any.

| As advertised by others, the room was fairly small. Thus we didn't get two night stands, which meant we had to put our books/glasses, etc. on the floor. Again as advertised, the staff was reasonably helpful at times, but they all acted like their choice was to work at Days Inn or work at McDonald's. They supposedly had a restaurant, but it was gone by the time we got there. It was close to the Mall, but I wouldn't recommend it if you could afford better.

| If you want an economy hotel this is your destination. If you want to sleep, you'll have to pay a little more. My room faced the freeway, other rooms faced the indoor pool. My trip was during the off-peak, why I was put on the freeway, I don't have a clue. Maybe it was that great rate?

| I was a bit disappointed with this hotel. I was expecting to be able to park my vehicle and leave it while I was on vacation. They charged me extra for this even though they advertised as a park and fly. I paid way too much money for the room, and it was not worth the money. When considering this hotel, please keep looking.

It was also across the road from the Mall of America with all its shops and restaurants.I took advantage of its shuttle service from the airport. I was also able to hook up with the newly established metro transit to take in the sights of the city. Overall a great stay!!

| If you're looking for a really cheap hotel and don't care about how nice it is, this is probably the place for you. One of my biggest gripes was that the walls are paper thin. I could hear the people next to me talking and could especially hear their TV's. The TV's are also really small and they don't get many channels. The bed is uncomfortable and the linens are about as low-quality as you can get. The floorplan of the hotel is really weird, it's easy to get lost. They give you a map when you check in, you'll need it. All in all, I've stayed in worse, but I've stayed in much better.

It's older and doesn't look the best from the outside; however, our stay was pleasant, the lobby was nice and our room was clean. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in a convenient location, and a clean place to stay. The rates were reasonable as well.

| I stayed at the Days Inn Mall of America in Bloomington MN in March, 2006 for three nights on a business trip. The "non-smoking" room smelled of smoke, the tv sound quality was terrible, the heating system in the room was rattly, noisy, and inadequate, there was no ironing board or iron in the room, and the noise from the adjacent highway was ever-pervasive, even at night. The hotel was run-down, dirty, and the hotel staff/management were extremely rude, uncaring, and unhelpful. Definately Do Not Recommend You Stay in This Hotel!

| Our trip was planned around the Mall of America so that was the reason we picked this hotel. The rooms were clean but as far as the room, it was not exceptional, small TV's especially. The hotel noted a restaurant, but there is not one on the premises. There used to be but no longer. It suited our purpose but for the cost, I think it's worth driving a little farther.

| I called the hotel desk from my departure airport to ask how to get the shuttle upon my arrival. I was told to go to the shuttle pick-up area and watch for the one that said Days Inn MOA on it. I was not told that I had to call to tell them I was there. We waited an hour in the cold wind, then I called and they said they would send someone right out. They didn't come, when I called back I was told that I had not told them which terminal I was at. I was new to their city and did not know they had more than one terminal. He should have asked me for that info. We waited a total of 2 hours in the bitter cold all because of two different desk clerks. Plus the desk clerk tried to blame it all on me instead of apologizing.

There was no ironing board or iron in the room (no closet for them) we didn't need it, but if it's important to you ask at check-in.
