| We upgraded thru Expedia for a room with king size bed. With the upgrade we recieved the king size bed but also a roon with dinning table, micowave, small refrigiator, coffee maker and all the dishes and glasses to go with it. A pleasant surprise. We found the Hotel Staff friendly and helpful. The restruant on the site was with good food and friendly service.

| We (2 adults and 2 kids, ages 12 & 16) stayed in a standard room with 2 double beds. The room was extremely small (hardly big enough for 1 double bed) and you could barely turn around in the bathroom. The entry door only had a lock in the handle, no deadbolt and the chain was broken. The key was a standard key, no electronic card or pushbutton code. We stayed there for 2 nights before switiching over to an RCI condo. We voiced our concern about the room size when we checked in and did tell them that we would be moving to the timeshare. They were completely unconcerned about our dissatisfaction over the room and even tried to schedule a timeshare sales presentation. Check-in for the hotel is at one desk in one building, customer service and check-out is in another building. Check-in for the timeshares is at another desk in the first building. The bed was an uncomfortable mattress without any box spring. Even with all of the above, our experience was enjoyable. The resort is beautiful with large palms, multiple pools, on the beach and well cared for grounds. It is conveniently located across the street from supermarket Gigante, but go about 7 blocks down the street to Mega for an endless selection of everything. The bus stops right out front and costs only 4.5 pesos to go downtown. The 3 bedroom timeshare that we stayed in was fabulous (except for the bed). We would return but will choose our room more carefully and do recommend the hotel to others.

| this hotel is more of a condo type place to stay. the rooms need updating, and lots of small tiny ants. the light fictures are old and not safe. The hotel location is great if you have a kitchen with your stay. Right across the street is a large grocery store that was very reasonable. Bring all of your own toiletries and be prepared to buy paper towls and things like that. The ocean view was nice and the beach at this resort is one of the best. Just no bar or waiters only at the main pool area. If you want a quite place to saty and dont need much I would reccomend this hotel.

| This was the first time our family had stayed at a resort like Los Tules. The staff and workers were very friendly and willing to help when asked. Since this is tied to a Time Share, we were asked to sit through the presentation, which we did not do. We were not there to purchase time share or were we interested. That was the only fault in the trip.

| Hotel was the best yet that I have stayed at in Puerto Vallarta, for relaxation, simplicity, and cleanliness. The landscape was beautiful with coconut trees surrounding the authentic looking condos. Restaurant food was great and reasonablly priced. Store across the road was a great benefit. Pools were great and not crowded. Highly recommended for families and couples who want to stay at a nice place with a mexican feel.

| This place is the ultimate get away if you are looking for some R&R. Its definatly not for the party people. The view is great and the people are helpful. The place is one of the older resorts there for the building and its services are a little out of date. Plumbing needs a little TLC. I would go back if I needed some rest.

| Beautiful tropical setting, lots of palm trees, flowers...Our vacation couldn't get any better then that! The staff was very friendly and helpfull; we rented a standart room and it was very nice and clean, the bathroom was a little bit outdated, but everything worked just fine - mini-fridge, hair dryer and perfectly silent A/C. The grounds are amazing and very well maintained; pools were not crowded at all and all of them had children's areas which my 2 year old daughter enjoyed the most.We stayed at the "Ambassador Suites" part of Los Tules (100 units owned by american company).

| A grat example of what a relaxed resort should be. Plenty of clean, uncrowded pools, lounge chairs, and lush green vegetation. The resort's jacuzzi is also a plus! The resort has more charm and relaxaion than other huge, mega resorts. The facilities are very clean and well lit. The only down side to this resort are the beds. Beds are not too uncomfortable. This hotel is definetly the place to stay when visiting Puerto Vallarta.

| We did not get the Queen bed we requested so my 6'2" husband was squashed on a Twin. The bed was also very, very hard. Apart from this the room iteself was very nice and well presented. The grounds are amazing, very lush with so many choices of places to relax in the gardens or around the 8 swimming pools! Also there is direct access to the beach. This resort seems so much better than ones near it and was set back off the street and very quiet.

| Los Tules is the most beautiful get away ever. The description on its web site sounded lovely -- and the reality was beyond lovely. Quiet, immaculate, those beautiful coconut palms everywhere, exotic bird sounds, flowers everywhere, home-like touches everywhere -- and the beach a few feet away. I can't imagine staying anywhere else when you visit Puerto Vallarta. The only improvement I would hope for would be softer beds.

| We loved this place - beautiful, quiet, very well-maintained, and the staff were all gracious, helpful & friendly. The grounds are so beautiful and spacious. The hotel is right on the beach with crashing waves to lull you to sleep. Nirvana! The rooms are clean & comfortable.Another bonus is no loud nightclubs to contend with, so I would expect this would be a good place to stay even during spring break. Plenty of swimming pools to enjoy if you don't want to do the ocean. The beach is clean and un-cluttered by crowds, and there is plenty of room to walk about & watch your fellow beach-combers. The location is good too, a short bus ride (only 4.5 pesos) to town, and there is a very nice supermarket right across the street. This would be a great place for families too - some of the pools are shallow & small, just right for little ones.

| The hotel was very nice for the price. The rooms were very dark inside - no sunlight and very little artificial light but otherwise nice. The various buildings of the hotel are nicely scattered amist beautiful lush gardens. The beach was wonderful - beautiful and not crowded at all.

| The Los Tules was a very pleasant surprise. It's a combination condo/hotel that sits along a primo piece of beach. The grounds have a real tropical feel to to all of the large coconut palm trees (it was a former plantation). The property features 8 pools and they are all very well maintained. The hotel has a great location. There is a shopping mall across the highway. Busses run every few minutes to downtown. It's only a few miles. Staff was very friendly. I'd definitely stay there again..
