| We went for the 1st weekend of the jazz fest and we could not have been any more pleased! The staff was more than accomodating and the room was great! We had a beautiful view of the river. The rooms were very neat and cleaned nicely everyday. I would recommend this hotel no matter what your purpose for being in New Orleans is. I'm hoping the city is in full swing when we get back next time! New Orleans is Still a Great place to be!!!

| I think the Sheraton has made an amazing comeback after the wrath of Hurricane Katrina. There were quite a few places that weren't open in the area, but the lobby of the Sheraton was bustling with activity and customers there for the Crescent City Race. You'd never know that they were in the midst of a hurricane last year. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly, kind and generous, welcoming newcomers with open arms.

| This hotel is a very nice property, clean, comfortable and walking distance to the French Quarter and all of the major attractions. They made it known that they appreciate the business as the city recovers from the devastation of Katrina. From the looks and service at the Sheraton, you would never know that there had been a major disaster just 6 months ago. Like the rest of the city, they are happy to see visitors and greeted us warmly.

| This is the second Sheraton we have stayed in this summer and both times the customer service was terrible. The hotel is very nice but you don't get what you pay for. Everything went wrong from check in to check out. I will not stay at another Sheraton. Be aware, "your room (bed) selection is simply a request - no gaurantee".

| We go to N.O. usually every summer. Hotel is lovely. Rooms showing their wear. Housekeeping come knocking by 9 a.m.(too early for New Orleans.) Costly, but convenient valet parking ($28/nt). Comfy beds, but nothing close to my Sleep Number bed. Walls very thin. People next door with teenagers may as well have been staying with us; could hear every word from their room if we didn't turn TV up louder. Better than average room service that is delivered quick. Pool area is a let down for a hotel this size. Many people just turned and left after arriving at the pool. Very few chairs and small pool. Jacuzzi spa not maintained at optimal temp. LOCATION is this hotel's Ace--2 blks from Harrah's; 3-4 blocks from French Quarter.

| Very nice hotel. We stayed on one of the upper floors and it was very nice. The only problem was that our neighbors came in about five in the morning and woke us up. They were in no condition to know how loud they were. I'm sure they woke up the entire floor! This was not the hotel's fault. The hotel has a nice bar area that looks out over Canal Avenue that is great for people watching. We would definitly use this hotel again.

| Staff gets an A+. They were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is conveniently located near everything. The only complaint I have is that the pool was closed for maintenance half of the time we were there; the kids were dissapointed about this. Other than that, it was a great hotel and I would definitely go back.

| The staff was NOT very helpful. I had no help with my bags, I had to park the car in front of the hotel and exit before someone came over to us to valet. When I orginally asked a valet attendent about parking/valet he said its valet only and walked away. The front desk attendent wasn't much better she was rushing through helping us and was about to charge my card twice for the pre-paid reservation. Her attitude was very nasty as well. The entire staff was HORRIBLE! The room was cute but extremely small for the price. The room service was quick and the food was good. Loved the location, HATED the staff!!!!

| I do not usually stay at the Sheraton when I go to New Orleans, but it is typical Sheraton. Nothing really to write home about, it is serviceable. The rooms were clean. The pool was not in service, I think that is a staple with that particular Sheraton. I do not think I will stay there again. So many more charming boutique hotels in that city to waste my money on the Sheraton.

| I stayed at this hotel on my last trip in December and chose it again to go back in July with my sons. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean, I believe they were newly renovated. One draw back of the hotel is that the elevators sometimes get very crowded with guest who are participating in activities on the convention floors. I wish there was a bank of elevators that were express from the upper floors to by-pass the convention floors. Other than that our stay was one of the nicest experiences I have had away from home.

| I found the staff to be extremely friendly and courteous, ann quite knowledgable about the city, activities and places to go. The room was nice and clean when we checked in but could have been cleaned more thoroughly (dusted, vacuumed, etc.)the remaining 3 days of our stay. All in all it was okay. On premise dining is limited to one restaurant, but 24-hour room service is available.

| If you are looking for a place to stay in New Orleans that will let you forget about you explore on foot, then the Sheraton on Canal Street is a good bet. It's lobby can handle crowds and has a big screen television broadcasting the current sporting event or news. The view was not that great facing north up Canal Street from the 31st floor but a river view from that level might be nice.

| Good, basic hotel. On the down side: small room, no way to get fresh air, had some problems with re-stocking of supplies in room (had to ask for supplies on two different days.) On up side: excellent location (right on edge of French Quarter and close to the riverfront attractions), very helpful concierge, beautiful lobby with central bar, city view, clean room.
